Lovely extra virgin California Grown Olive Oil
This is a great deal for a lovely extra virgin olive oil grown in California. Wanting to keep my footprint a little bit smaller and support the state I live in.

very smooth and aromatic
My favorite evoo has been Greek kalamata for a long time. One of the reasons why is that it’s from a single origin. Nowadays many Italian evoos are actually blended ones from many different origins. Multiple blending can be good, but it was not easy to find a good one at an affordable price range. Now, I got to try this new evoo from CA, and I tried it the way I always consume it- over salad, bread dip with salt and pepper or balsamic vinegar, quick low-temp sautéing, and in general cooking that doesn’t require high temperature. I drank a spoonful of this new evoo and compared it to my Greek one as well. So what’s my verdict? I like it for various reasons. First, it’s from a single origin. I’ve never knew CA grew olives. I would trust this CA evoo more than those claiming the origin is Italy (with olives from 5 different countries). Second, this evoo is very smooth. Of course, it’s oil. Oil is supposed to be smooth, right? No there are many bad olive oils that taste dry and have an after taste. This oil tastes clean, and the assumption is that it is simple fine quality. The oil does not taste as bold as Greek kalamata, but there is still a distinctive olive taste with subtle fruity flavor to it. Lastly, I love the fresh aroma. I smell the freshness out of this evoo, and it is a wonderful companion for my salad and other dishes. Overall, I like how it tastes on my food, and I would recommend this oil to my friends and family. The price is slightly on the upper middle side ($16.7 / liter), but I’ve seen way more expensive ones as well.

Tastes great and excellent value from a trusted source.
Probably about 20 years or more ago I read about which oils are healthiest and which ones are most harmful. Extra Virgin Olive Oil, cold pressed, and organic when possible is absolutely one of the best and one of my favorites for taste. One issue I later discovered, though, is not all brands are the most reputable and at times advertise olive oil but contain something different in parts (from different types of olive oil, to mixtures with canola, etc.) However, I'm confident in the ingredients with this brand as I've cooked with it as well as had it at room temperature. As it's a fairly large canister and I wish to keep it fairly cold and in a darker area, I have poured some into another dispenser and used from there.Picture is my use of it over edamame spaghetti of which I simply add great olive oil and some Parmesan cheese instead of other sauce and it turns out well. I've also used this to nice effect as a mixture with balsamic vinegar, garlic and other spices to nice effect over salad and vegetables as well as in cooking (falafel balls of all things were the best).Overall, a great product.

It's a beautiful fresh color and has a mild flavor.
This is a nice mild olive oil in a large tin can. The spout is pulled out and twisted to open it. The color is a very fresh pronounced green/yellow that smells appealing. I have used it to coat the outside of baking potatoes to hold salt crystals, as well as sauté chicken. It's very versatile and not overly robust in flavor. We will use the entire 3 liters, no problem. A very welcome addition to the pantry.

Mild light flavor
This seems to be a nice, high quality olive oil. I love the GIANT container because I go through olive oil so quickly, I feel like I always have to buy more. This is huge & will last a very long time! The flavor is not peppery in my opinion. Some olive oil has a bite and burns your throat going down. I find this brand to be quite mild. It still has an “olive” flavor, where you don’t question that it’s pure olive oil..however, it’s a light pleasant taste. If you like more of a strong spicy olive oil, this probably isn’t the one for you. But if you’re looking for a mild oil that’s grown in the US, this is a great option! I recommend always sticking with US olive oil because so many overseas are not pure, even when they claim to be. Many are mixed with rancid vegetable oils-yuck!Highly recommend this brand 😃

Amazing olive oil
This is a very nice olive oil. It's taste and consistency is sooo good! Not just for cooking but as a dip for sourdough or French bread. As a base for salad dressing it's unbeatable. Also great as an ingredient in homemade mayonnaise. With pasta, just this olive oil, garlic & parmesan cheese is amazing. The only place that I wouldn't recommend is in high heat situations like deep frying or stir fry but most people don't try it for those applications. It works well as a base for homemade cosmetics and as an unscented massage oil. This is the first time that I've tried this brand of olive oil but it certainly will not be my last. Most highly recommend.
