Extremely well-built light with one fundamental flaw..
These are probably the best built lights the market has to offer. Much more heavy duty than the cheap aluminum versions but not so heavy that it is unwieldy to hang and support. The fit and finish is superb. I like that light manufacturers are putting hanging cables on lights now because the hook and chain method is a pain to deal with sometimes. That being said, the cables are fairly long (presumably to reduce the entrance angle to the housing and the associated forces) which isn't ideal for areas with low ceilings. Add a light height adjustment pulley and it gets even worse. For this reason, its nice that they included the traditional wire bail hangers as well. These also allow you to hang the light on its side. Now for the downside. Hanging the light in a vertical orientation from its end must be done using the cables because the hole pattern for the wire bails does not allow for vertical hanging using that method. I see this as a major oversight in the design. Simply drilling two additional holes would provide much more versatility in hanging. Sure you can hang vertically from the cables but again, the long distance comes into play. This configuration causes the cables to bend at a very sharp angle where they enter the housing. Also, in this configuration the lights hang from a single point and there is nothing to keep them from spinning. A couple minor modifications that allow vertical hanging using a wire bail with 2 rope/chain connection points would make this perfect. Overall though, despite these couple shortcomings, you should be satisfied with this product.

Heavy Duty Grow Light
This review is for the 48 inch 4 bulb light. Several years ago we purchased Several of the excellent 8 bulb models for our greenhouse. These lights are put together well. They are expensive but I can see why. They are packed well, including the individually wrapped bulbs. They also work very well. These are not your big box shop lights that will rust out in a few years in a greenhouse enviornment. Very happy with the purchase.

Good plant light fixture
I purchased this fixture to replace a 20+ year old standard fluorescent fixture for my indoor plants which was past its prime (the ballast was shot). Although I could've replaced the ballast, I felt that a new T5 or T8 fixture would be a better & more efficient alternative. The item arrived rapidly and was set up expeditiously. It works great thus far...the light output thus far appears to be much more intense than that of my old unit. I hope that it (and the bulbs) will have a similarly long lives. As an addendum to my initial 5 star review, I must say that after initial installation, this inexpensive (ie, cheap) unit was disappointing in that the ballast crapped out after ~4 months. I had to purchase a new unit since I have a surplus of T5 lights. I will try to work on the ballast but I don't have much hope. Once again, you get what you pay for.

Well built light fixture
Bought this Sun Blaze 44 to start veggie seedlings in my guest room during dreary, grey spring days. Came very well packed in a heavy box -- each HO 6500k fluorescent bulb was sleeved in a cardboard tube in the reflector to protect them. When hung using the plastic-covered wire cables, it hangs 13.5" from top of light to your hook and does not shorten. But you can easily lower the light using a chain and S hooks, etc, so you'll need to take that into consideration for your setup design. The lamp instantly turns on, with no flickering or warmup time needed. Included is a 12-page technical info guide covering all of the various Sun System light fixtures. It also has handy charts to help you figure out how much electricity you will be using. The Sun Blaze 44 is a 216 watt fixture using 234 watts per hour. The chart indicates that: 12 hrs/day x 30 days at $.06/kwh = $5.05/month cost. You can daisy-chain up to 5 fixtures together, not to exceed 7.5 amps on any fixtures chained together. So far, it seems to be a very good quality fixture and I'd have no qualms buying another if needed. The light provided seems super bright, but then I'm not a cucumber seedling.

Great Light. GREAT Seller! I'm coming back for another!
I have a small business with a shed/workshop and I bought this T5 Fixture to both illuminate the workshop and keep the plants I keep at my work station healthy.I wasn't sure if I should have warm or cool bulbs, so I contacted the seller and he was more than willing to provide 4 of each (rather than 8 cool) for no additional charge or hassle.Shipping was very fast. The bulbs and fixture were packaged safely so EVERYTHING arrived in working order.I am 100% satisfied with both the quality of the product and the seller. When I need another fixture, I am coming back here.

First day with it, came intact.
Arrived today in good shape and packed well. Easy to set up and everything is working great. Decent amount of heat generated by these but in my basement it’s serving well to keep my seedlings warm.
