Soft, flexible, and long-lasting
I like sharp tools and sharp knives, do lots of little maintenance projects, have few callouses, and hate wearing work gloves, so I'm always getting little cuts and dings on my fingers and hands that need protection while they heal in the very arid desert. Bandaids are often too small or thin or have adhesive that gives out as soon as it gets the least bit most, so I usually make my own bandages, and 1" Medipore take is my favorite tape by far. It isn't really stretchy, but can be curved sideways a little to follow the shape of the skin because of the open weave of the fibers. When applied to clean skin it stays on as long as I want it to, for days if necessary, even after getting repeatedly soaked by water. Best of all, it's very soft and flexible and doesn't hurt the sensitive skin between fingers like more substantial tape does when it gets folded in sensitive areas like between the bases of my fingers. That doesn't mean I never use other tapes, including various kinds of bandaids once a wound has started to heal and 2" paper tape to hold gauze in place over a large wound that can't be allowed to get wet, but Medipore is the one product I can't do without.Expert tip: The key to getting any adhesive to stick to skin is to get all of the skin oils off of the surface. Seriously scrubbing the area with detergent under hot water will do the job, but that's unpleasant and often inconvenient and doesn't always do the job. My solution is to use the individually packed alcohol swabs I keep next to my first aid kit to thoroughly rub the area to be taped and the fingers of the hand that will do the taping and let it dry completely before putting the bandage on.

Not eligible for return, buyer beware
I made the best effort I could to buy this from 3M, instead it's from "WikiDeals" and not eligible for return, even though the returns policy says Amazon Prime items have the same return policy as general Prime items. I don't think this product is legit. It has a horrible fragrance, and it looks like there was a 2" wide tape that was cut in half lengthwise, and not evenly. The tape is overly adhesive. It will take off skin if you try to use it, and unfortunately I was hoping to use this on my face. I wasted 7 bucks.

Good, but not great....
I bought this to use on an incision I had done on my arm right below my elbow. Previous tape I had was hard to remove and would actually tear my skin, so I was hopeful this would solve that. Unfortunately it didn't really do what I needed done most, and that was to stay stuck to my skin where there's a lot of movement due to my elbow. I would put it on in the morning and by early afternoon it had already started to come off allowing the bandage to come off the wound. While it didn't irritate my skin, it also would stick to it very well, making it rather useless for me. The other issue I have is the fact that it has perforated segments, which is fine if you need strips that long, but for me I needed different length strips, so I would have to find some scissors to cut it to the right length. Making it a bit easier to tear by hand would be helpful, especially early in the morning when I'm trying to get this on before I go to work. While it might work great for some, it sadly did not work well for me.
