Making Stuff & Doing Things (4th Edition): DIY Guides to Just About Everything

I bought this as a gift and am so relieved that I looked at it before wrapping and giving. I don't like the format, it's messy, difficult to read but more importantly the content needs to have some sort of rating for over 18's only. This should come with a warning that it is not a book for crafting for kids on a rainy day. Normally read the reviews first before purchasing but didn't think I would need to. This is going to be recycled, what a waste of money. Can't even request a refund as it's past the date.

Ich werde es mir noch ganz durchlesen, aber ich sage mal die Nützlichkeit der Tips ist.. variabel.Eine lustige Idee, aber ich muss sagen, ich hatte mir ein wenig mehr erwartet. Sowas wie konkrete Bastelprojekte wie keine Ahnung, Betonschalen für den Garten oder sowas.Das Design ist süß. Durchgängiger Stil; Fehlanzeige. Alles frei von der Leber, bestehend aus Texten, Notizen und Zeichnungen. Auch das ist Geschmackssache, hat aber einen gewissen Charme. Trotzdem ein schönes Geschenk für alle 'Selbermacher'.

Lo compré para un regalo, pero en la descripción Amazon no advierte de que incluye un apartado con consejos sexuales para adultos. También tiene otro apartado sobre prevención del embarazo en el que aconseja el método de la temperatura. No me molesté en mirar el resto del libro. Una decepción. No entiendo como en la explicación tan larga que promociona el libro no hay ninguna mención al tema. Menos mal que pasó primero por mis manos y no lo envié directamente.Lo voy a devolver y encima tengo que pagar los gastos de devolución porque Amazon dice que no es culpa suya. Sería útil que Amazon tuviera algún tipo de clasificación para aquellos libros no aptos para niños ni adolescentes.

Everything featured in there is interesting, but the visuals of the book is terrible. It seems to be made from photocopies of articles and such, so it is not always constant. Sometimes, the writing is so small and all over the place that it is a bit hard to follow. Otherwise it is great and I have used it for a few things !

Lots of ideas to try out, but definitely not for kids
