RV Motorhome Camper Trailer 24" Double Step / 12" Drop/Foldaway Entry Step

very good replacement for my single step on my 2004 Amerilite camper. Do not be discouraged if the steps do not bolt right in place. There are many different camper manf. and they all do it a little different. I had to notch the back side of mine 1" back and 4" down to get them to fit like i wanted the it only took about 10- minutes to weld them on the the trailer frame. As a proffesional fabricator I seriously doubt that any replacements are just going to bolt on place without some modification. Find you a good shop that won"t burn down your camper and just weld them on it is far stronger and quicker than bolts. these steps are stronger than most OEM campers steps i have had and i like them very much.

Works well and made entry and exit much easier than our single step.

Addition of these steps to our camper made our camper much easier to step into!

I purchased these steps to upgrade my camper from a rounded edge, slick finish neck breaking single to a more comfortable 2 step. These fit the bill very well, they make entry and exit of the camper a much less precarious affair, very well made with straight edge and excellent grip. Fitment for my purposes I knew was not going to be perfect, and I would suspect it would be tough to find exact fit step for the typical RV unless you go back to your dealer and purchase them. This is for DIYer with a few metal working tools grinder, drill, C-clamp, and of course bolts either out of your old steps or new ones as they don't come with these steps. if you order steps and get perfect fit you probably should buy a lotto ticket ;) Overall I am very pleased with this purchase! edit: the steps are still sturdy but the finish on these is not on par with the factory unit, very thin and surface rust starting to appear. The factory steps were laying in the woods behind my shop, piled with mud and leaves washed up and the powder coat looked as good as new! while they make getting in and out easier, I will need to refinish them soondinged 1 star for skimpy finsh

Replaced my one step on my trailer with this two step. I had to do a little modifying but it works great. Good quality and good price.

Our Shasta came with a single step which made entering an exiting a little tricky for short folks. These steps are great. Super sturdy and easily installed.

Removed a single step on a Jayco Jay Flight SLX 7 and replaced it with this. So much better than the single step from the factory. Fit is very close but it does fit. Nice work Elkhart!

easy to order, shipped out fast, appears to be exactly what I wanted. Actually got here faster than I expected. Great job. Looks like a easy install for someone with little experience. I plan to widen top with some 2" x 2" 1/4" thick angle so that I can utilize the factory mounting floor bolts and tack weld the back just the same as the original. It will look factory installed when finished.
