Storage jar

Description

I made this stoneware lidded jar on the wheel and trimmed a foot ring on the bottom a couple of days later. The inside and outside is glazed in white. The outside has a coat of clear glaze over the white. This clear coat gives the final glaze coat a little more depth and interest. This lidded jar measures 8 3/4" tall and 6 1/4" diameter. The opening is 4 3/4". I made this in 2013 and just got around recently to glazing it in 2017.
