IT MAKES THEM BONKERS!
well, my cats go bananas over this stuff--funny, i wondered how long i've been buying this, and it turns out that i have ordered it 11 times so far--12 right after i finish this review--my first can was ordered way back on january 21, 2019...amazingly enough, the first can i ordered cost $16.88, as has every other can--how many cat products are still the same price as they were SIX YEARS AGO!! (i wager that it is safe to say "no one has!"...but correct me if i'm wrong...it never ceases to amaze me every time i'm placing another order that the price is still the same--and the can hasn't gotten smaller, nor has the outstanding quality of their product diminished...my cats love it six years later as much as they did the very first time!i would buy anything that they put out for cats! my cats are just happy that their mom always has some on hand....so thanks guys!!

A great high!
I got my kittiKrack a few days ago and am so impressed with it. First, packaging and design is wonderful, and the tin it comes in has a screw top, which keeps it fresh and keeps one of my Krackheads from helping herself. I grow catnip in the back yard, so several of my kitties are already nipheads, but for the cats who do respond to nip, KittiKrack seems a cut above. I never heard of silver vine until recently. I had to look it up to see what it was, and I was surprised by what I learned. Silver vine has been in use in Asian countries for years for both cats and humans. It alleviates stress and acts as a mild hallucinogenic in cats, and for humans it may help with various kinds of pain and acts as a sedative, much like Valerian. I knew this about catnip, but not silver vine. For my cats who do react to nip, and now to the silver vine, I see a definite quality of relaxation and ease in them after the "high" wears off, but the high from silver vine is a lot more powerful. My cats seem to spend more energy on a silver vine high, and they are a lot more kicked back and relaxed afterwards. I have six cats, and a couple of them don't respond to either nip or silver vine (I did read that there is a gene responsible for whether a cat responds to catnip or not, so it is not the fault of the herb or the cat), but for the ones who do, I think silver vine is more beneficial. One in particular is an adult rescue who came from a very unfortunate situation and who has had issues since we got him. He responds particularly energetically to the silver vine, and when his high is over, he is relaxed and content almost to the point of being a normal cat. We've tried hard to help him adjust to feeling safe in our home, and KittiKrack is kind of like a small miracle for him. For my others, and particularly my two handicapped younger cats, it's just a great time for all of us. Rub a little KittiKrack on one of the shrooms from Twin Critters and toss it out, and sit back and enjoy the show! Thanks guys for a great product!

Cats LOVE this
Two out of my three kitties adore this stuff!! Makes one very fun and crazy, and the other completely chill and relaxed. Just wish there was a bit more of it.

Does not work on all cats, but when it does? It's fantastic!
I had purchased this product, along with some silvervine toys for my mom's cats. And neither of them were interested in either the dust or the toys. But when I later got my own cat, I dug it out because catnip doesn't work on him and I wondered if this would. And holy cow! He went freaking nuts the first time I dusted his toys with the silver vine powder. To sum up, it doesn't work on all cats, but when it does, they go bonkers for it. If your cat doesn't react much to catnip, give this a try instead.

Cats like it
My one cat doesn't get excited for catnip toys, but she does seem to enjoy the silvervine. I add a little of this to the refillable cat toys and she gets to enjoy them as much as her brother does.

My cat says YES
My cats are repeat customers to Kitty Krack. I don't know if the actual product is worth the price, seems a little steep, but the joy and happiness this brings to my happy and content felines is priceless.

not sawdust-colored like this is
My cats are silvervine connoisseurs. They go insane over a couple of the other brands of silvervine offered on Amazon. Kitti Krack doesn't cut it. They totally ignored it. The true silvervine cat hallucinogen is a coffee-colored powder, not sawdust-colored like this is. I suspect Kitti Krack is just ground kiwi powder, a type of silvervine used in skincare. My cats and I have a ritual with silvervine. I dispense tiny piles at the base of their favorite scratching post. The minute they see me there they come running.I decided to give Kitti Krack a try. They came running when they saw me sprinkling the Kitti Krack on the post, but with barely a sniff, turned and hopped away. Zero interest. Quite unlike the reaction with other brands, where they suck it up, roll in it and get googly eyed, then play like maniacs for 20 minutes. The Kitti Krack sat untouched for days. After a couple more unsuccessful attempts to interest my cats in it, I threw out the remaining 90% of the package (big OUCH! at that price!) I ordered another brand (thank you, Amzn Prime!), and the cats went insane over it.80% of cats get high on Silvervine (Univ. of Illinois study), but in my experience, zero % will get high on Kitti Krack brand silvervine. Too bad, because it is a generous amount compared to the other brands and the packaging is very appealing... obviously some thought went into the branding. Too bad they didn't try the product out on cats before selling it.
