I really enjoyed this one! I enjoyed the banter and the chemistry between the hero and the heroine. This book starts off majorly insta lovey and insta lusty but as the story progresses, there is more development of the characters relationship and also of the overall plot which I liked. The chemistry between these two was amazing and the spice was HAWT! ALSO love it when a mafia alpha falls for this one girl and she becomes his obsession... Kage was a simp for Natalie and I lived for it!!!I also adored the friendship between our heroine and her best friend Sloane. It was amazing to see such a close and empowering female friendship in this! An amazing start to this mafia series!!!

Possessive, bossy with a love for kink and dirty talk. But my gosh could he be sweet too. Did everything work for me? No. But I was so lost in this story it didn’t matter. And the fun best friend banter, made me want to read the next book ASAP. (So I did).

This book! 🥵🔥😍 I am absolutely obsessed and could not put this down. Definitely a new fav and a new fav author!I didn’t read the synopsis before going into this, I just knew it was a mafia romance and then continued to be blown away by each page. Quick synopsis: heroine is a middle school art teacher whose fiancé disappeared on their wedding day 5 years ago. Her hot new neighbor seems to be popping up everywhere she is and can’t take his eyes off her.I was hooked on Nat & Kage’s story from the start and my attention never let up. The sass, the teasing, the directness, the dirty talk, the chemistry, it was all so good! Seriously every time Kage said something 🔥🥵! And each encounter Kage & Nat had just got hotter, I loved their bdsm-lite moments (spanking, tying up) and all the consent talk. When I’m reading mafia, I love a possessive, intense but direct alpha antihero and Kage was so that. I loved Nat’s best friend Sloane, she had me laughing so much. Lots of action starts happening in the plot around halfway in and it was just a nonstop wild ride and I loved everything about this read. Now I’m off to dive into book 2 and check out the rest of this author’s backlist!

I’m not that far in the book, but so far it good, but my only problem is the page are coming out, like they wasn’t properly put together, and I don’t want to return it cuz this is the second time (different book) that this has happened. This is the second page in this book that this has happened to and I’m only on page 7 in the book!! I had started a book and the page was coming out the same way and I had to return it and get a a new and and I started on this book and now the same thing is happening. Probably just going to use super glue but I’m a big book reader and this is very disappointing.
