Q: Is there any way to power / charge the phone while it's on the bike mount (Qi / MagSafe or wired)?

I can plug in a USB charger into my phone while it out mounted on my bike.

Q: How does a phone attach to the mount?

You need to buy a peak design case foe your phone. Once you have it, it attaches with magnets and a mechanical lock so it’s secured.

Q: Is there a plate option for a phone belt clip from peak design? I have the peak bike mount plate on my phone but would like to use the same for a belt

I've not seen anything like that from Peak Design, but check their web site. They have all their product information available.

Q: What is the major difference between this one, and the one that’s $30 for motorcycles? Would this one be fine on a motorcycle?

Vibration Protection or Dampener is their main difference. The Motorcycle Mount's best-in-class vibration isolator prevents damage to delicate phone components which is why we do not recommend to use the Out Front Bike Mount on motorcycle as we don't want your gear to get damage in the future.
