Solid Topper, but Not Ideal for Dusty Environments
P&S has a reputation for delivering quality detailing products at a fair price, and the Bead Maker Paint Sealant (1 Gallon) is no exception. Used as a topper, it does a fantastic job of enhancing gloss and creating tight water beading. It’s easy to apply with a simple spray-and-wipe method, and it leaves a slick finish that really makes paint pop. That said, in Arizona conditions, it has a few drawbacks. Because cars here dry almost instantly and our hard water leaves spots, I can’t really use it effectively as a drying aid. More importantly, it tends to attract dust — which is a big issue during our frequent dust storms. On my black vehicles, they can look brown overnight after using this. A good workaround is to mix it with P&S Dream Maker, which offsets the dust-clinging problem nicely. If your goal is maximum durability, you’ll get better long-term protection from a ceramic spray or coating (my personal favorite is the Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray). But as a quick topper for gloss and water beading, Bead Maker absolutely delivers, especially for the price.

My review is lengthy, but it could help with this fine product.
I had a buddy turn me onto this (He didn't buy it, he just sent me links to it and asked me what I thought). Since I've been an avid detailer for over 30 years, from what I saw, it looked interesting, so I bought a gallon of it (I never go small). Now, to be clear, I'm nobody's disciple on car detailing products, but I do have my go-to's and products that I consider to be very high quality. I do like a lot of the chemical guys products, especially their spray on detailers, glossers, etc. And of course, any Klasse products are high on the list, albeit far more work than most are willing to subscribe to. This P&S was interesting to me due to the water sheeting claims. And to be clear, it does sheet water pretty good, but no better than any other "Applied" Wax (like a good coat of klasse acrylic (Silver bottle), a good carnauba wax, or basically many of them, even the cheapest waxes will sheet water). Where this P&S product really excels is in the category of the EASE of application. It is very easy to apply, and who doesn't like that? More so than that; when you do apply it the streaks are pretty much minimal, so it's very forgiving and easy to work with. . Of course, Step 1: Clean your car well! Nuff said on that. . Step2: I recommend claying your car at least 3 times a year, at a minimum. If you don't like to use actual clay (some don't) then at least use those claying mitts, which work very well and they're fast (sold on amazon, get the "fine" grade when it comes to grit). Plus the mitts don't flag trim with clay scraps, so that's a good part. Note: You don't have to clay your car EVERY TIME you want to use the P&S, but it's good to do it every once in a while, especially if you park it outside. . Step 3: After claying and completely drying off the car (use an air compressor or leaf blower to get water out of all the cracks, seams, etc). Take a fine piled microfiber cloth (like a medium to large drying type cloth) and liberally spray on the P&S. Wipe it down quick, with minimal buffing. If it's a reasonable mild day it should dry immediately and not streak. Remember, with this product there's a difference between "Dry" and "Cure". . Now, when you apply it, at first you might not "Feel" like it's that slippery, in fact, many of the "Detailers", like the Chemical Guys Ultimate Synthetic detailer, or their "Glosser", may in fact, seem slicker when applied. Where the P&S really comes into play is when it's past drying and it's CURED. Once it's cured it feels like you just got a ceramic coating put on your car (No, I've never purchased Ceramic coatings, but felt them after being done, most of which you'd feel anyway just with the prep work done on any car, before the ceramic coating is applied.. Personally, if you take care of your car, to me, they're kind of a waste of money, but that's just my opinion). . Once the P&S is cured, about ~4 hours, you'll really noticed the benefit of it. Run your fingers on it. Slick. I typically do two coats. It's very fast and easy to apply, after claying and drying, one can do an entire car in about 15 minutes. Two coats a little more, obviously, 2nd coat goes on quicker. . Remember; once it's fully Cured is when the full benefit comes into play with this product. I recently was driving my car in some heavy rain, and it in fact did work similar to like a fresh coat of wax, so with that, I was very impressed. I do not believe, however, that it would last as long as something like a Klasse Acrylic type coating. But, since it's so easy to apply, who cares, use it like a detailing spray and just do your car all the time; it's quick and efficient and really not that expensive if you buy it in the gallon, buy a good sprayer, and go to town. . Happy Detailing.

Buy Beadmaker, Make Life Better
This is a pretty easy review, just buy this damn stuff, it’s perfect! Done Seriously though this is an exceptional product That I love to use on my cars and around the house. The depth of shine is mind blowing, the hydrophobic properties are incredible, it makes washing your car easier and easier. One of the cool things about using this is that when you usually use a more conventional wax, the static properties pick up a lot of dust initially and you almost need to wash the car one more time to make it look good. Not Beadmaker, it’s like it repels dust, leaving your car clean and dust free for a much longer period of time. The other outstanding quality is the depth of shine you get, if you have metal flakes in your paint, it almost makes it three dimensional which is super cool. It has a really nice smell and won’t break the bank.

Affordable and great results
I recently applied Bead Maker as a topcoat over my existing ceramic coat on my 2025 Ram 1500 Bighorn, and I continue to be impressed. It is easily applied, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish that really enhances the shine of my truck. I even bought a gallon’s worth, which I plan on using throughout the winter when I drive through the touchless car wash. The added protection and ease of use have made it a staple in my car care routine. I highly recommend Bead Maker for anyone looking to elevate their vehicle's aesthetics while ensuring long-lasting durability.

A great product but nevertheless overhyped.
Pros: - Exceptionally easy to use. No streaking whatsoever. Fun to apply. - Smells great. - Leaves a fantastic gloss. - Great hydrophobic properties. Cons: - Doesn't exactly offer protection and would not rely on it at all for that purpose. - Not designed to last long. After it rains once, it's pretty much all gone. In my experience, it lasts about two weeks. - Dust/pollen magnet. All hydrophobic products will cause water beading with a propensity to leave behind dust, but Bead Maker seems to be especially annoying in this regard.

Transform Your Vehicle
In the realm of car care and detailing, finding a product that not only promises but also delivers an exceptional finish can be a game-changer. P & S Professional Detail Products Bead Maker has emerged as a standout contender, offering a blend of ease of use, durability, and a brilliant shine that lasts. After personal testing and gathering user feedback, it's clear that Bead Maker is setting new standards in paint protection and gloss enhancement. What Sets Bead Maker Apart? Bead Maker is not just another paint protectant. Its unique formulation, which includes binding polymer monomer technology, creates a surface that is not only hydrophobic but also incredibly slick to the touch. This technology allows for a quick spray application, making paint protection easier and faster than ever before. Whether your vehicle is wet or dry, Bead Maker can be applied safely to all exterior surfaces, offering a versatile solution to your detailing needs. Ease of Use and Application One of the most praised aspects of Bead Maker is its ease of use. After washing and prepping the paint surface, a simple mist and wipe with a microfiber cloth are all it takes to apply this protectant. The process eliminates the hassle and time typically associated with traditional sealants, making it accessible for both professionals and enthusiasts alike. Durability and Shine Customers consistently highlight the stability, durability, and incredible shine that Bead Maker provides. The slickness it adds to the vehicle's surface is notable, with some users reporting that the finish holds up for 3 to 6 months. Additionally, the formula contains hardening agents for longevity, ensuring that your vehicle not only looks great but is also protected over time. The Secret to a Glossy Finish The real magic happens during the "curing" process. After application, allowing Bead Maker to set for a few hours reveals a glossier finish. Applying additional layers with curing time in between can enhance this effect, resulting in a surface so slick and glossy it resembles glass. This level of gloss and protection is particularly impressive on older vehicles, breathing new life into their appearance. Longevity and Protection While the long-term durability of Bead Maker is still under observation, early indications are promising. Vehicles treated with Bead Maker have shown excellent water beading and easy cleaning of dust and dirt, suggesting that the protectant holds up well against the elements. For vehicles regularly exposed to harsh conditions, Bead Maker offers a layer of protection that not only enhances the vehicle's appearance but also contributes to its upkeep. Conclusion P & S Professional Detail Products Bead Maker stands out as a revolutionary product in the car detailing industry. Its combination of easy application, lasting protection, and unparalleled shine makes it a must-have for anyone serious about maintaining their vehicle's appearance. Whether you're a detailing professional or a car enthusiast looking for an efficient way to protect your vehicle, Bead Maker offers a solution that is both effective and economical. With Bead Maker, the process of achieving and maintaining a glossy, protected finish has never been easier.

Great product, just didn’t quite fit my needs.
When my go-to detail spray suddenly disappeared from production, I went on the hunt for something new. The reviews of this product on YouTube are what drew me to Beadmaker. However, my honest review: this is a great product! It goes on easy, and gives a great shine that gets even better after a day or two. Water does seem to bead-up very well. I am very impressed with how it brought out the depth of my paint! I will buy again, probably in the gallon-size. Beadmaker definitely has a place in my car-delailing arsenal. There are two things that I don’t care for, however, both personal impressions: The price puts this is a different category for me, because I can’t really use this as liberally as I used to use the cheap stuff from West Coast Customs. While it works as a detailing spray, it’s cost kinda limits how often you can use it for that purpose. Secondly, and along the same lines: if you use in on a panel in less than ideal conditions, like happens at a car show (hot, sunny parking lot), you can get streaks that are a bit more difficult to remove. I can definitely see how these issues are from me using the product a bit differently than it was intended. Just something to keep in mind if you expect to use it that way. All-in-all, I love what Beadmaker brought to my car’s appearance! It has earned that additional step in between waxing and detailing. It’s use is more like an after-wash glosser, not on the show field unless you can find a shady spot. While it is worth the extra time/effort, I am probably still in the market for something cheaper and less forgiving for final car show prep.
