This is a good, attractive pen. I've found some slight issues with the nib being a bit scratchy which slows down my writing a fraction, but overall it's a decent purchase and I would recommend buying one. I alternate between the Ideapool and my Pilot Metropolitan which I'd honestly recommend over this one since it's a little nicer and is a few bucks cheaper. This IDEAPOOL natural handcrafted bamboo fountain pen has met most of my expectations! This is a fairly inexpensive fountain pen that provides a smooth writing experience.Be aware that this is a MEDIUM nib pen that matches the FINE Lamy fountain pen nib (which is more like a medium anyway)The pen casing is nice-looking, although I wish it was a little bit darker. The pictures in the description are fairly accurate. The nib is smooth and I haven't experienced any faulty ink flow. I did notice that some ink accumulates on the surface of the tip of the net which does not make it look great.The cap of the pen does provide a tight seal, however, it is a little bit hard to snap it in place when compared to other pens that I have had. It does seal it well so I can't complain, but it does take extra effort.The pen does come with an empty refillable cartridge. You can either dip the pen into the ink jar or remove the converter and refill it.Overall I'm very happy with this pen and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good budget fountain pen.

I like this pen. The bamboo finish is quite nice. The filling mechanism seems too lightweight, however. It's a "push-type" mechanism. I think a screw-type mechanism is better and safer.I would buy this pen again if the filling mechanism were made sturdier and changed from a "push-type" to a screw-type mechanism.

As a collector of fine fountain pens, I was very surprised with the quality and the smooth writing that this pen is capable of. The ink flows smoothly, at least with top shelf ink. I haven't had any problem using this pen. Highly recommend this writing tool. A GREAT GIFT FOR KIDS OR ADULTS.

Nice looking pen. But I can't get the ink to flow well. It either leaks out of the pen or hardly writes at all.

Very nice pen and I just used it to write this work. The tip is very smooth and I can use it whenever I need to put online force. I love it!

cheaply made, more aggravation than it is worth

This is a very cool looking wooden barrel pen with a nice fine nib that so far has performed well. My only complaint would be that there is not a lot of heft to this pen, which makes it feel a little cheap in hand. Otherwise, it performs very well. It has a converter cartridge you twist to fill up with whatever ink you want, or you can take it off to put in a pre-filled cartridge. Fun to write with, even if it's a little light, and it's eye-catching enough to spark a conversation.
