These are perfect for terrariums and paludariums. Very light and porous stones, you get about 2 cubic feet worth of them. Good deal even compared to my local hardware stores and much larger pieces of stone

This is one of the few labs rocks I've purchased that are actually BLACK instead of mostly red/ orange colour. I would of given 5 stats but I only got a couple pieces that were actually over 4 inches.

Simple and easy to apply just requires more than I thought so buy extra and you might have enough.

Lit up propane fire pit using my new lava rocks. I’ve only had the pit for a year, didn’t need new rocks til now and never had burn marks or crackling embers. I put in the new lava rocks and started the fire, then nearly “ran for the hills” after it immediately started popping loudly and I heard a piece of shooting rock ping against side of my camper. Happened 2-3 more times, lucky I didn’t get hit by flying debris, that would have smarted. Here’s a pic of 1 of 3 burn marks on my new indoor/outdoor rug (I’d already removed the small black ember that caused it). Not a big deal, but was just so surprised, this didn’t happen when we first lit it up on initial purchase. No more issues after the first night.
