Easy to terminate, Affordable, Great product
It's easy to terminate to a connector. Solid copper but flexible enough to line them up perfectly. The striped color wires are easy to determine, the line actually is clear and it stays throughout the wire. Very nice cable. Very affordable. I would definitely buy this again next time. I wish they have blue for 250ft.I Would recommend this to anyone.

Long pull, worked as well as the name brand Cat6 and Cat5e I pulled along with it
I had to connect two homes via a 200' trenched, PVC conduit. Had Southwire Cat6 and Cat5e, and decided to include an extra Cat5e, for some additional redundancy. I bought a box of the Sewell Cat5e, knowing the risk was relatively low, since it was redundant. It was a tough pull (was also pulling a 1" PEX water line at the same time. All of the cables made it. I was worried the stresses of the pull might have been too much for the CCA cable. I terminated all three cables with RJ45 plugs, and tested each cable individually; total length of each cable was about 250' between the RJ45s. They all performed perfectly: Same ping and same throughput on a 1Gbps network. I still have half a box of the Sewell cable left. I'll use it without hesitation, based on the results I got in this project.

Decent cable, in a reasonable quantity, for a good price.
This did just what we needed for replacing outdated cat-3 telco wiring in a 35-year old home. The pairs crimped well and punched down well, the jacket severed well without unintentionally nicking any of the pairs (for the record, I'm not particularly skilled at cable-making, with accidentally nicking the copper while scoring the jacket being one of my worst habits), and ease of pulling from the box was just about what you'd expect given that, at only 250 ft, the box wasn't all that heavy and bounced all over the place as we tugged on the cable, but never once tangled or caused any trouble. The only complaint I might raise, and I would say it probably wouldn't matter to most people, but the pull fiber usually found inside Cat-5e cable was really wimpy. I typically use that pull fiber to sever another couple of inches of the jacket before re-trimming the pairs and cutting the jacket off cleanly - predominantly because I'm a dope when it comes to severing the jacket without getting into the pairs as well. In this application, I just didn't use it, but I wouldn't say it slowed me down appreciably. This application won't ever stress these cables close to their bandwidth capability, so as far as the integrity of the pairs themselves passing all of the bandwidth specs, I think it will be just fine but I'll never know for sure in this environment. I'd buy it again if I needed more Cat-5e in a residential environment.

Good product. Good price. I'm happy...
This worked perfectly for me. I had to run two cables about 85 feet in an office environment. The cable pulled from the box smoothly and I ran one cable with a pull string attached. Then I pulled the second cable with the string. Terminated and tested both cables. Very nice to work with. I would use this cable again without hesitation.

Great cable with a few notes...
Nice cable, easy to terminate. Things to note, it definitely doesn't have the "feel" of commercial cable, so watch where you're running it. I used this mainly for residential applications and for short patch cables and it worked out great. I wouldn't use it for a business customer though, it just doesn't inspire the confidence I would need to go put it in a production environment. I can't put my finger on quite why I feel that way, just feels light-duty and lacking substance. Other than that, I would certainly buy it again.

Cheap cabling, but worked well for what I needed.
Used this cabling for a 150 ft. run. No issues, other than this being in-wall cabling. Do not recommend making cables out of this since it's pretty flimsy and stiff. Was extremely cheap and got gigabit after testing the run. No issues.

Works, but had a lot more trouble than with other cables
Several months ago I purchased a networking kit here on Amazon (Aurum brand) that included 150' of Cat5e cable, 24 crimp-on connectors, and the crimping tool. I had no problem whatsoever making several cable runs with that kit. All connections tested good the first time.I then needed to run some additional network lines and purchased this cable, as I still had most of the connectors from the prior kit. Using this cable I had so much frustration getting good connections. I had to re-crimp one of the ends 6 times before getting a good connection and the other end had to be redone twice. My cable tester would indicate anywhere between no connection at all to at least one conductor bad.So, in the end, yes, I did get one good run but wasted 6 connectors and about an hour of my time to get there. The cable itself seems about the same quality as the other cable I used and the dispenser box is very nice.Bottom line, I would spend a little more to know I will get good connections the first time.

Nice "light duty" cable for the budget-conscious.
For the average homeowner, this is probably "good enough" for some runs you're going to make, and never touch again. The sheathing is very flimsy, and the copper density is the bare minimum spec, so you're going to want to make sure if you're pulling this through a wall that your run is clean, because nails or big splinters are likely to rip the sheathing, and possibly the copper insulation. On the upside, the smaller wires were really easy to punch down when I made some wall jacks, and were very easy to line up for patch cables. As far as cable quality, it seems fine for GigE, though I'd probably want something a bit better if I was pushing PoE.
