Problem fixed
I am updating my review. The seller recently sent me a new filter that had addressed the issues mentioned in my first review. I can report that the filter no longer leaks the tiny filter beads. When dry, the filter still appears to be 1/3 full, however, the beads absorb a good amount of water and once thoroughly soaked expand to fill the majority of the filter housing. Nice job and thank you for addressing the issue.

Do NOT buy this filter
As others have noted, it leaked beads (even after soaking for twenty-four hours in the sink, where the filter also leaked beads) into my humidifier. Just a mess and not sure if damage has been done to my humidifier, or if these beads are toxic. Total waste of money and time.

Nice cartridges for my dehumidifier. Works very well.

Cartridge Not Full
One cartridge is only about 1/3 full and the other is 1/2 full of ion exchange resin. Better off spending more on a Boneco cartridge that will last longer.
