Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 WIFI - 32GB - Grey (UK Version)

My wife insists on having a £400 ipad every few years but this is my 3rd Samsung and my previous 2019 TabA lasted 4 years and was still running well when I updated to this new Samsung TabA8. So how does it compare to previous model? Firstly it's bigger which is great when watching films, it's easy to use and has features that the wife's ipad does not including language translate. The screen is clear but not as detailed as the ipad but you won't notice it when watching films. Battery life isn't as good as my previous Samsung but still lasts 2 days with regular use. The sound however is better and as good as the ipad. So for the money this tablet is a no brainer particularly if you can get it for the £126 I paid.

Probably needed to get the 64 as lacks enough space for me (bought 32 due to price). Set up takes a while, quite tricky if your not familiar. Nice slimline. Great sound & picture quality. Great price was 20% off. Much cheaper than stores, but been upgraded since that's why. However I'm very pleased with is this product. Has regular earphone socket. Has loads of stuff you can do with this bit I got it mainly to watch films, which is perfect. Only downside is battery doesn't last as long as I'd expected. Advice is switch off when no using. Takes ages to change up. Camera is pretty good. My advice is buy a case to protect it. I have found over time when starting up sometimes the aps stall, annoying.

I'm not gaming on this tablet, just watching videos, but it's super responsive and works very well. I love Samsung and whilst this might be the old tablet, it's still really good.I didn't want to go cheap with this one (even though this is still a good price) - tablets can deteriorate quickly, especially the cheaper ones, but I have a feeling this is going to last me a long time.The battery life is really good, the quality is really good and the screen resolution is decent. Wish it was 1440p and I dont need a camera but meh, it works well.

I bought this to replace an Ipad that died after some years of service.This was at less than half the price of a replacement Ipad, probably far, far less actually as I wanted something that would take a SIM card, not the dongle I used for the Apple.I really am pleased with it. My only irritations are that Android applications have far more adverts and they are very much more intrusive that those that used to come with the "free" Ipad applications, the touch screen does not feel quite as positive as the Ipad was, some selections being a bit fiddly and needing a few dabs with the digits.Anyway I'm sold on the unit, I dont claim to be an expert or indeed use many applications, but I find it fast and effective.

Reviewing in 2025, had this tablet for over 3years now. Works like new with latest android on it. Beautiful device keeping me company while I'm cooking.

I bought this for my wifey a good while ago, can't remember when exactly, due to her old tablet having a cracked screen and low memory.She absolutely loved it. Top quality and a reasonable price, all packed nice and neatly in it's box, which is where it still is after all this time because she refuses to part with her old one!On the plus side it means I won't be buying her another for a good few years.On the negative side all I can comment on is the box........ which is nice....... and boxy 🤔

I use it for emails and ordering gifts etc, I find the constant adverts irritating. Good for the money. I am generally satisfied with it.Daffodil
