As a musician myself, for over 50 years and a friend of Al's, I have to say he captured the essence of the period. A little quirky with the timelines jumping around but he brought back memories that I'd forgotten. Anyone who has lived "the life" and reads this will probably recall some of their own forgotten moments. I enjoyed it.
