Meadowsweet or Mead wort is a perennial herb in the family Rosaceae that grows in damp meadows. It is native throughout most of Europe and Western Asia (Near east and Middle east). It can reach 6.56 ft high and its white flowers smell exceptionnally sweet. The flowery tops contains salicylate from which scientists extract salicylic acid which allows to make aspirin.

makes you cough if you have lung issues already.
didn't seem to help with acid reflux, and it inflames bronchitis, which if you have acid reflux with acute bronchitis caused by said acid... this isn't what you want.

Excellent Substitute for Aspirin
Started using this as a substitute for aspirin. It supposedly doesn't have the bad side effects, like stomach bleeding. This is working great for me. I use it for aches, pains and headaches. I would rather use more natural products and this fits the bill!

Waste of money!
I purchased a 200-count bottle of hawthorn tablets from Bio Atlantic. I assume, from the poor quality of the tablets, that they were handmade in India. Many of them were split in half and half of the bottle was useless powder. I will definitely not be purchasing anything from Bio Atlantic in the future.
