Many people attempt to get around drug testing by tampering with their urine specimens by adding things like water, hydrogen peroxide, bleach, etc. or providing fake urine altogether. By using our adulteration strips, you can test a donor's urine for six different adulterants including creatinine, nitrites, glutaraldehyde, pH, specific gravity and oxidants to ensure the urine you are testing has not been tampered with or that the donor did not provide a fake urine sample. You can rest assured that the urine you are drug testing is unadulterated and that the drug testing results you have obtained are accurate. Creatinine-Tests the sample for dilution. Glutaraldehyde-Testing for the presence of exogenous aldehyde. Nitrite-Testing for the presence of exogenous nitrite. Oxidants-Testing for the presence of oxidizing reagents (ie: hydrogen peroxide). pH-Testing for the presence of acidic or alkaline adulterant. Specific Gravity-Testing for sample dilution according to apparent pKa change of certain pretreated polyelectrolytes in relation to the ionic concentration.
