I love this shampoo! It actually works and relieves dry scalp and itchiness. I have never personally had issues with a dandruff problem, but over the last month or so has been experiencing itchy scalp consistently. The shampoo from dove smells great and is very moisturizing and creamy feeling in texture. It soaps up well in the shower and leaves your hair feeling and scalp feeling very clean, but not overly dry. especially for being under five dollars a bottle, I highly recommend giving this a shot. It may be a much better option for you than basic dandruff shampoo.

Good shampoo. Helped me with my dry hair and dandruff issues. Ingredients seemed reasonable and the scent was very mild. I really recommend getting a hydrating conditioner along with this if you suffer from dry hair.

This product is great. I love the scent and it it is really effective. My scalp not only feels good but my hair has a nice shine. Adds lots of moisture to my hair. It is easy to apply because it isn’t too thick. I am amazed at the price . What a wonderful discovery on Amazon.

Such a great product for the cost. Smells amazing and I have noticed my washes lasting much longer with it. No problems with dryness or breakage so far, and have been using for over two months. I did not have dandruff but rather bought it as a clarifying shampoo, so cannot speak to that, but it is gentle enough that I feel comfortable using it every day.

For the price, this works very well. It does contain fragrance, but my scalp feels way less irritated than a normal fragranced shampoo. And, my hair does feel stronger/thicker after 1 use compared to a normal shampoo. I use one of those gentle shampoo silicone brushes normally - to help properly get buildup off of my scalp without scrubbing too hard. This is just a normal item I use alongside any shampooing, so I don't accidentally scratch my scalp/hair with my fingernails which can cause your hair to become more brittle/inflamed over time. My scalp normally feels like it is throbbing after using something like the Kirkland brand rainforest botanicals moisturizing shampoo + conditioner. Pantene is not as intense, but still get a throbbing sensation (probably from the dry, winter climate). Though this product (Dove Damage Therapy Derma Shampoo) does contain fragrance - it is half the price of the other dry/itchy scalp options - and, still works pretty well compared to using normal shampoo.

This shampoo is so affordable, and it works very well! It is super easy to use and it leaves my hair super clean, very moisturized, and really soft. The shampoo its self is pretty thick and it smells so good. I have repurchased this many times, and I have had zero issues with it. There has also been no leakage problems at all. Overall a 10/10 product.

After a few days of using this shampoo, the dandruff was gone completely! It works well. Also, this shampoo smells so clean & fresh, unlike the others that smell medicinal & "minty". Worth the money! Smells really nice, clears up dandruff, & moisturizes your dry scalp making it soft & flake-free.

I am writing for 2 reasons. 1 life long dove buyer even shampoos, but this is the worst lather I have ever experienced. Bought it for my husband and son and they have begged me to by h/s instead., If you are familiar with h/ ‘smooth and silky’ it moisturized our hair like that, pretty good at taming frizz and puffiness, but don’t feel ‘clean’. My hair was greasy in 24 hrs. But in that 24 hours it was manageable and moisturizing. Just would not buy again for Caucasian hair in Florida

This shampoo solve all my hair problems...life long problems are solved by this shampoo. And this is a myth that a shampoo can only for cleansing of hair... From first wash i saw the result........ My hair fall & dandruff reduced.....Thank you so much Dr. Nivedita Dadu.... 😊

I’ve only used it three times so far. I’m not sure whether my scalp dryness has improved, but the dandruff has definitely reduced—about 50% after the first wash and around 90% after the second wash. My scalp used to look like white snow, but now it’s much clearer and the itchiness has reduced a lot. I also had a few pimples on my scalp; most of them have gone down in size and there’s no more itching.
