Amazing!
I have seen tons of reviews saying that the texture of the boba is off putting, and I think I’ve figured out why. If you just mix the tea powder with hot water, then add the boba, and then just add to ice, it comes out like a cross between firm jello gummies and warm skittles. Or as others have put it grainy.Fix: after you add the boba to the warm tea mixture, MICROWAVE IT! Lol.It is in the instructions, but I saw quite a few people who made it seems like they didn’t. Now on the box it says to microwave it for 30 seconds, but the description says 45 seconds. My guess is that it’s an adjustment for different wattages. So for instance if you have a 700 or 800 watt microwave, put it in for 45 seconds. If you have a 1,000 or 1,200 watt microwave, put it in for 30 seconds. This makes a huge difference with the boba pearls. They become soft and chewy. A lot better texture than not doing this. Even after the boba cooled from adding it to ice after microwaving it, it continued to have the better texture to it.One thing I didn’t like is some of the flavors weren’t really strong. Like the rose and Thai tea ones basically just taste like the brown sugar one. The Thai tea one was slightly sweeter though. So far only the melon tastes different to me. But they have all been great other wise.

Packaging instructions are a bit weak
Okay so I love this, but it took some trial and error.I’ve found the best way to use this kit is as follows:1. Heat water in the microwave for 2 minutes & 30 seconds OR boil OR use an electric kettle first.2. Mix your tea packet into the water, and let it set for about two minutes.3. Using your fingers, gently break up the boba in the package, then add it to the drink mix.4. Microwave for an additional 30 seconds.5. (Optional) Let sit until chilled & add ice6. For best results add vanilla creamer, or milk product, or half and half to thicken.

I love it
I love these instant boba kits. My partner and I are obsessed with boba and I wanted to find a cost effective alternative to getting boba multiple times a week. We still visit our local boba shop but this is such a cost effective way to indulge in boba cravings. I love the convenience, the tea powders all taste great and the bobas always come out great: chewy and a nice syrup/brown sugar flavor. Highly recommend this as a gift or for any boba addict looking for a cost effective way to indulge.

Personally these were NOT for me
The floral flavors, particularly the rose, were not for me. I was expecting subtle floral flavors, but when I opened the package it smelled like a grandmas hand cream, very strong bold floral, and artificial. I thought “oh, it’s still concentrated, it won’t be as strong mixed in the drink” Folks, I used one packet to make two full drinks about 20 oz each because I was so apprehensive about the smell. So half a packet per boba. And the way I gagged and spit out this drink immediately. It was awful, like I had taken a bite out of artificial floral soap. I’ve tried other flavors from this brand, and really loved them! But the floral flavors aren’t it guys. Trust me, save your money, stick to the taro or matcha or whatever. For like, a lot of the flavors in this box being floral it was not worth the money.

Delicious
I’m obsessed with bubble tea and I love floral flavors. I had no idea they had a mix with rose and Lavender. They are very flavorful even after ice is added and the Tapioca have a great taste and texture.
