It's a cool looking knife and was a good gift but blade wasn't very sharp and you can't sharpen it without taking away the texture

Sharper than the devils tongue.
Great knife, comes razor sharp. Blade is definitely Damascus you can feel the layers of steel engraved. The knife itself has a little weight to it. Weighing in at about 2 ounces. The knife comes with a carrying case, I believe to be a little redundant. The knife is small enough to act as a standard pocket knife. I see the case as just an unnecessary addition. Dirt & grime can accumulate easily along the spine due to the manufacturing & dibits on the blade. Easily cleaned away withy a brush or sponge. Great pocket knife just watch the blade as it is extremely unforgiving.
