Get the big picture...fast!!
This book expects you to have a basic knowledge of material being presented. This book is not for absolute beginners. This book alone will not suffice, but its a good read to understand the big picture of the syllabus and material as a whole. This book serves as a good study guide and provides you with a cram sheet of things that you must know before exam.As far as commands go this book does an excellent job of breaking them down and explain their meaning so when you are doing lab it all makes sense as to why you used this command for what! This book will give you quick overview of the important stuff but if you want to dive deep then you need OCG. Reading this book is painless and non drowsy because OCG can make you!I am preparing for my ICND1 exam with this book, OCG Odom Wendell, CBT nuggets, Boson netsim exam, labs by Neil Anderson (Udemy).

Unlike the Textbook, it gets to the Point!
This is the first Exam Cram book I have ever purchased. I purchased this in the hopes that it would cover the basics of what the Cisco/ PearsonVue textbook went for page after page about. Do not get me wrong, this book by itself will not elevate you to a point where you can pass the Cisco 100-105 Exam alone. You do still need to read the textbook as much as possible. I however find that the straight, no nonsense topics that comprise the Exam Cram book is to my liking. I swear, the publishers of these textbooks require the authors to pen a minimum word count on every chapter or something, thus I am supplied with information that goes well beyond the task at hand, but does little to actually enhance the understanding of the core subject matter. If you are like me, and of average intelligence, you will benefit from a book like this to compliment the information that is found in the textbook. This book also supplied me with the PearsonVue software practice test, which has been a great benefit to me. Buy this book, you will not be disappointed!

Easy book to study
I passed my CCENT using this book as my primary source of information. However there are other online materials that helped as well such as Pearson lab prep, which really helped with the labs. This book also help me with a job interview post exam. So it’s helpful in many ways. I’m not a book reader so if you are like me, this is definitely the book for you. Easier read than the others, not as technical as the others though.

Great!
Just took the test and passed with a score of 836, with 832 being required to pass. It was close, but I did an accelerated 8 week study plan using CBT nuggets, Packet Tracer, and this book. The authors of this book realize that most people in IT have no attention span like me, so the book is broken up into extremely short chapters that have lots of content with no useless filler. It's really the best way I've seen yet to study for certifications (having taken/passed 7 CompTia cert tests, and now 1 Cisco exam!)Overall, this book was the core of my learning and was the only reason I passed...highly recommended, but make sure to supplement your learning with another resource as well. This book is packed with facts, but you need another resource to help you understand the concepts.

Easy read
A great addition to add to other books and videos. Not enough to pass with just this. Easy read.

Very helpful, highly recommended (just passed the test)!
Very satisfied with this purchase. I went through the Cisco Learning track for ICND1 over the last 3 months and I literally crammed over the last 18 hours with this book and it was well worth it. Very helpful. I took the ICND1 exam today at Cisco Live (June 2019) and passed 913/1000. If one of these same books exists for CCDA I’ll definitely be buying it later this year!!

Passed using only this book
With minimal experience and the equivalent of a network+ level background in networking, I passed by studying this for ~50 hours. There were some errors (I counted less than 10), but the book overall is still the best densely-packed study resource you're going to find. None of the errors seemed to impact my exam performance. There were a few areas not covered well in the book on my exam.Overall I would buy it again, but recommend this book as a cram rather than the primary study resource.

Ok
I am fan of the Exam/Cram books series. I passed my A+ certs now working on CCENT. This does not come with a network simulator only test simulator. I am still readign on the book, but wanted a network sim. Looks like I will have to supplement elsewhere.

Buena herramienta consulta
Es un buen auxiliar de consulta, ya que destaca los puntos de cada objetivo a evaluar en el examen, sirviendo como guía para poner atención al momento de estudiar.

Buy it without giving second thought
This book is really worth while. If you are preparing for ICND1, add this book as your secondary resource( don't think you can pass ICND1 just using this as primary resource). Use it for filling in the gaps and revision.

What a great and useful resource for passing the CCENT!
I used this book to pass my CCENT along with CBT nuggets Jeremy Cioara's videos. This book is best used once going over all the topics covered in the CCENT. Once you have an understanding of all the material (for example watching Jeremy's (CBT nuggets) videos or using another resource. I recommend you get this book! The book goes over all the topics in great detail and uses tools like Exam Alerts to make sure you remember the main points. It provides questions at the start, throughout and end of the topic to review your knowledge and make sure you're actually taking in the information your reading! You also get FOUR practice exams (2 in the book and 2 on the pearson exam software) This was an amazing way to get used to how cisco asks its multiple choice and scenario questions, but also test my knowledge and learn how to answer the questions, which is especially important on your first Cisco certification.I am now going onto my ICND2 and will certainly use the exam cram for that exam once I am familiar with the subjects.
