Not bad for the price
Pros : about 630 true wattsnice long cables (I have a mid tower with the PSU on the bottom and 4+4 pin sockets on top, and didnt have any issues)Mesh sleeves make wiring a bit easier and better looking (black hides much better than a jumble of rainbow colors)single, powerful 12v railhas the usual protectionsRuns cool with modern (bottom) mounting.Quiet (even in hot configurations)Decent efficiencySeems like a solid construction with visible aluminum heatsinks.Cons:Short (2yr) Warranty, murky reputation of Rosewill (from what I understand, Rosewill is a subsidiary of a major online retailer, but these units are said to be re-branded / ,made for Rosewill by ATNG, a decent manufacturer).Had mine for about a year. Runs everyday on a system that has a 125w cpu and a 175w graphics card. It's more watts than I will ever need but should hopefully be good for many years to come.

Physical Size Matters!
I like it as a door-stop, so 4 stars. If you are building or upgrading your first system, make sure you know WHAT PHYSICAL SIZE you need. I was clueless and ordered this PSU for my HP P6-2220t and it was way too big. There is no return and I am stuck with this thing sitting here. The "ATX" at the beginning of the part number is not just some random letters. It is the size. It turns out that I should have ordered something different ( a micro or mini ATX if I recall). I was so bummed I never did order the right one and gave up on a better graphics card. Don't be like me.

great PSU for my PC
we are a Dell PC family with 3 desktops and 3 laptops all from Dell, unfortunately Dell uses less than reliable Chinese PSUs in their desktop PCs, my sons PC went down first and we replaced his with the Rosewill 530w, it's worked perfectly for his machine for a few years now, once the PSU died in my PC and just past the warranty of course :( , Rosewill was a no brainer for my machine as well...this PSU is extremely well built has an excellent ball bearing cooling fan and is extremely quiet and I love the nice black painted case, there's more than enough connectors for most machines and plenty of power for low to mid demand PCs and the price is really reasonable too....hopefully, I'll have the same reliable service from this PSU as my son has had with his :) I do highly recommend it

GREAT Power Supply Unit & exactly what I needed!
I recently puchased the RG430-S12 Unit as my computer was having problems. Occasionally, the computer would restart itself for no reason and reboot OR my computer would have a chirping noise come from the computer after a couple hours of constant use. I spoke to a friend who's knowledgeable about computers, and he advised me that my computer needed not only new PSU unit, but a more powerful one as the PSU culd not handle the amount of power to supply the computer. After doing some research on Amazon, I found that the Rosewill RG430-S12 was exactly what I needed. Not only did it have the necessary connections for me to ue for my older parts, it also had newer connections for future upgrades for SATA drives. And on top of that, a great feature was that all of the power cord connections are fish-net wrapped in a cool black color so as to keep wiring in it's place and make it easy to organize which was better than my older stock PSU I had in my case.Another great feature the Rosewill PSU has is that it's a 80PLUS certified. To those that don't know what that means, it's a certification meaning that not only will it provide a minimum of 80 percent power at 20 percent, 50 percent, or 100 percent of it's LOAD rating, but it also allows the Power Supply Unit to use LESS energy so a environmentally green product to useless energy and help reduce energy wastefulness. So when your computer is using less, it uses less and produces less energy waste. The RG430-S12 unit is the lowest PSU unit that that produce for the S12 series, which is a single 12v unit. But it's way more than I needed as my computer was using an older 300w PSU. With this unit, I now have a total of a max rated 530w unit, which not only solved my problem of my computer rebooting randomly due to lack of power, but the bigger 120mm Silent Golf Fan is even quieter than my last stock PSU I had in my case, and provides a better cooling solution to my PC. I can feel the amount of waste heat pushed out of my PC computer is greater than my old PSU so I know it's keeping my PC cool and as anyone will tell you, the cooler your PC the longer it will last.In conclusion, the Rosewill RG403-S12 was the perfect fit for my PC. It brought back life into my older PC and now if I decide to upgrade later on down the road, I can reuse the Rosewill for any future building or upgrades of my older computer!p.s. --- before you buy any PSU always do the research and make sure that you buy the right PSU. Buying a less powerful PSU for a computer that has a lot of computer cards, graphic cards, or sound cards...you need to have the right amount of power. Just because my computer worked well with the RG430-S12, doesn't mean that it will work for every computer! Make sure to buy the right one for the job!

Low cost! Solid power! Environmentally friendly!
Great, solid power supply. Doesn't seem cheaply made at all and carries some weight to it! Been running it hard for 1-2 months with no problems at all. If you're looking for a low cost psu and this meets your requirements go for it!!Don't even attempt to go cheaper than this because anything below it will most likely be made with cheap components and cause headache down the road.

Does what I expected, but I can't see the future and I've only had it a couple weeks and only with light use.
I have yet to put the system under a full load, so I don't know if it will handle a full 630 continuous watts, or if any of the rails will handle the full load. However, I don't plan to put it under full load (ever) and so I expect it will last just fine. That said, my incapability of measuring its actual power handling aside, it does provide the expected voltages on the expected rails. My only complaint so far is that the legacy 4-pin Molex IDE drive power connectors are extremely snug to the point it almost cuts my fingers to try to remove it from a drive I had temporarily installed. I guess that's a good thing for connection security, but this isn't a rocket engine -- there isn't that much vibration to require this tight of a fit.

Absolutely perfect
I needed a quick, quality solution for a custom build and researched a ton of different brands/types of power supplies and picked this one. I'm glad I did! I love the bottom placement, the cord control, and the overall look. This power supply is perfect for high-quality builds. I loved it so much that I bought another for a high powered build and it runs flawlessly. Don't get me wrong - modular psu is my favorite option by far. But for builds that are custom (which usually means it's up to them and most opt for cost friendly) ill be going with Rosewill PSU's more often.
