Perfect thickness
I LOVE this thread. I do a lot of slow stitching/sashiko type art and this thread is the perfect thickness to do both. I have only used the Aurifil 50wt for my machine but when I looked at the handsewn threads for Aurifil this was recommended by Amazon and was half the price. The reason for one star short is because the set of 12wt came on accident with one spool of 50wt off-white thread and I had already begun using the other colors before I noticed, so I couldn't get a replacement :-( I definitely don't need a 50wt off-white so this is a waste for me.

Smooth, strong thread
The Sulky Petites 12 wt threads are just what I want for my hand quilting projects. I like the thickness that accentuates my stitches. The thread is smooth and does not tangle. The colors are gorgeous! Whether I’m matching the fabric or contrasting to make a statement it is easy to find the perfect color. The only downside is trying to purchase just one color since they seem to be sold only in groups. I really need just white right now but had to buy a package with nine other colors. I’m hoping one white will be enough.

Love these for cross stitch!
The colors are vibrant and rich, and it is easy to use. I love that I can use just one strand and get the same coverage as two strands of DMC. No more railroading! You also get more for your money per spool vs. skein. I plan on gradually moving over to these for most of my stitching.

That the company reads this review and does something about it.
I liked the fact that I was getting several colors that I needed but the rest were duplicates. I would like to see all the colors available, singly posted on the site. Of course a person could buy a collection but those are pricey and would still duplicate or not contain the needed color.
