Andreas Square Silicone Trivet, Zebra, 8.25 Inch

We recently remodeled our kitchen and put in Corian countertops. They kept stressing that we shouldn't put any hot items on the counter (not that I had before). But I thought maybe the fabric pads I had used previously might not be enough. I got three of the rectangular and three of the square Silicone Trivets (White Dots). I use the rectangular size every day. They don't slide around at all, which is nice. If I'm taking a pan from the oven, I put two of the rectangular size next to each other and it provides enough coverage. The trivets wash up great either by hand or in the dishwasher. Because they're so thin, you can store them easily. You should know that the colorful picture they show for the product is a bit misleading. The colorful side is the side that goes face down on the countertop. You can still see the colors on top, they are just muted.I don't use the square size nearly as often. They work just as well, they just seem too small for most of the pans that I need to put on a trivet. I mostly use them under items that might scratch the countertop. They work great for that.Bottom line, I'd definitely recommend these for purchase.

Though a bit on the steep side price wise, these silicone trivet's are THE BEST product made today and well worth the money. I purchased several different sizes because I have installed a new (expensive) Corian counter top in my kitchen. These trivets protect the Corian, are non-slip and can withstand 600 degree temperatures. Unbelievable! There is nothing in my oven that bakes that hot so you can place anything from the oven onto the trivet or directly to the dinner table. Too, they are dishwasher safe. You can't beat that!! They are bright, colorful, and well made. You will not be sorry if you decide to purchase. They come in all different shapes and sizes...even a casserole size. I rate this product a 10 out of 10. Excellent.

These are a little thinner than I expected as the other silicon trivets I have are thicker. You do however get used to it and the design looks great on my granite bench top. I bought all three sizes. The rectangular one is really the best size. The round and square trivets are a little small though of course suitable for small pots.

This works great as a trivet or potholder. It withstands heat and food spills and is easy to keep clean. I even love the feel of them. They don't slip on table surfaces. I've purchased 2 of these as gifts and would recommend them to anyone.
