I use this in my basement. The first few days it has a strong perfume odour. Afterwards, the basement and back door entrance are odourless for at least three months. It actually gets rid of odours without masking them with perfume.

It may work removing bad smells but I can't say for sure. I can still smell cigarette scent in my large walkin closet. I dont smoke in these, the smoke is in a connected room. I'm still having to use spray.

It causes a beautiful fragrance in the room. Not overpowering like some of the plug ins. Just fresh!!!
