My Magical Feelings –Teach Kids to Name and Tame Big Feelings and Emotions (The Magic of Me)

This is a great book for SEL. I’ve read it with my own children and with my students (ages 4-9). We’ve been able to have many positive conversations about feelings while reading and after.

We LOVE this book! My 3.5 year old will now go running to this book after a melt down to read together. She identifies what she is feeling and it helps her with her communication. It has also helped her to understand her feelings and accept all the different things she (and everyone!) feels every day. We both love the illustrations in this book and how the feelings are acted out in the pictures.

This book is adorable and the illustrations are beautiful. This book definitely helped navigate big emotions with my almost 4 year old. I don’t see this being an appropriate option for kids younger than 3 as the wording is a bit complex.

I bought this book for my five-year-old great grandson. He really enjoys it. He loves to hear me read to him and trying to teach him to read too ready for kindergarten.

One of our regular nightly reads. This book is great to help littles learn about feelings, the importance of feeling them, and that no feeling is permanent. Highly recommend this book for anyone with young kids!

As a family who doesnt allow phones there is a page about a kids being their phone and I try to just ignore that part while reading it but other than that it is a nice book!

Simple, but good for young children to bring up the topic of feelings. Minimal words on eaxh page so good to keep attention of young children and quality print, colors with cute illustrations

I love this book for my little one. She’s only 16 months right now but I really want her to be able to navigate her feelings. I feel like this will be really beneficial for her as she continues to grow!
