I'm still giving it 5 stars because I am very pleased with the quality of the wood, the thickness and sturdiness, and the attractive and complete paint job. It's actually a very nice product and not flimsy in any way. However, the dolls did not fit together when received (could be a manufacturing issue, could be that the wood absorbed some humidity, etc.)This did not bother me, since being too large to fit together is much more easily solved than if the pieces were too loose, which I've had happen with other nesting dolls. So I sanded the insides of a few pieces (which was easy to do since they are thick wood and won't fall apart) and now they fit together.

Some of dolls required some adjustments by sanding to get them to fit together properly. Had we shipped them directly to the recipient without seeing them first we would have had a disappointed granddaughter. With a little work first,she was very happy with them.

Love how cute these are but the wood is kinda stiff and hard to open/close properly. Bought these for my 2yo and she cannot do it on her own cos of this.

I ordered the Halloween set. I’m neutral in my opinion. I think they are nicely painted and my set came apart and went together easily. But they are smaller than I expected. If they were a little bigger or a little cheaper I would probably keep them. I’m on the fence if I’m returning.

They’re exactly what I’d thought they be. The only issue is that they don’t fit inside each other? I put them together and the top pops off and flies across the room. I bought it to teach sizes but I can’t use it for my classroom because it’s a safety hazard.

Love these little nesting dolls. 2 year old granddaughter loves them too!

My child had a hard time pulling the tops and bottoms apart from each other. This made her frustrated. Even I had difficulty with them. Cute design, but I wouldn't buy again.
