If these sticks are good enough for one of the best drum lines to ever hit the field and required for use by one of the best instructors in the world, they are good enough for me.I am old DCI drummer and still love to throw down notes. Having a great pair of sticks is just as important to effective application of technique as the drummer is himself. Sticks are the tools we use to make our instruments work.The DC-17 is a slightly less beefy stick then its brother the DC-50. It provides excellent response and is excellently weighted. The stick is a marching drum stick. It is not for use on a drum set. If you are looking for a well-balanced, well-weighted marching stick that offers the player great rebound, the ability to play with massive down stroke as well finesse, SCOJO's DC-17 stick is for you. For the young rudimentalist percussionist, this stick will require some good chops to use but the great thing about this stick is that by using it, you will develop your chops. Win-Win!! Order a few pairs. At $7.00, you need a couple of pairs of these sitting around the house to use when your buddies come over and you want to rehash your favorite licks from previous halftime shows, DCI shows, or WGI.Great job Promark and Scott Johnson.

I am the drum captain at my school an these are probably the best marching sticks I've used. They are a little heavy but that helps with stick control. They feel very solid and have great weight distribution. These will be the sicks used for my ffcc snare line

First off I'd like to mention that I've been using VicFirth Float and Hardimon sticks (Tom Float was my instructor) for over 11 years. This is my first ProMark product, and I have to say I'm very impressed. The feel, responsiveness, and articulation are excellent. The sticks are also very well matched/pitched. All in all its just a fun pair to play with, and adds variety to the standard wood or nylon tip.The only reason I took 1 star off is because the sticks I received are "old." Let me explain; in my experience hickory sticks that are brand new start of at a nice off-white color and are very smooth with no pores. The sticks I received are a bit aged/discolored and look nothing like the picture in the info page. Also the blue watermarks on the sticks are a bit scratched off, and the wood was already open/porous due to long exposure to open air. I'm pretty picky so I may ask for an exchange.With that being said, in terms of quality and drumming these sticks are awesome. I highly recommend them. Whether you want something portable to play on any surface, or something to add color to an actual snare head or practice pad, this is an great product.

I have been a drummer since early high school. I marched in marching band for 4 years. In my junior & senior years, I played the marching snare drum. I loved it!! I can still remember a particular cadence our high school band played during one of our very winning seasons. The drum sticks we used were very similar to the ones that I ordered here at amazon. I've been beating the perca pad I ordered from here daily as well. Great sticks!! Proud of my purchase choices.

Has a Higher Flucrum than vic firth sticks, but it kinda works lol

Son baquetas típicas de Marching bands dentro dentro de Corpmaster y tienen un grosor entre las Ralph Hardimon y las Jeff Queen. Personalmete me encantan, donde pese al grosor que pueden parecer tener son ligeras y muy comodas a la hora de interpretar gracias a estar MUY bien equilibradas.Si aun así el grosor es demasiado hay una gama de estas baquetas que son "Scott Johnson-light" que son un poco más gruesas que unas 2B.Os la recomiendo sin dudarlo.

Quite simply- these sticks are absolute beasts !!!
