Impressive.
I have wanted to try this for Buddy for many months now. Finally I ordered it for our super picky cat who will not eat much of anything consistently. When I first put some in a bowl for him, I let him sniff it. He got all excited and followed me right to his feed station to eat. He ate a whole serving that first night. Next morning I gave him a serving. He sniffed it and walked away. Not only did he walk away, he had to make a statement. He walked into the dining room and between the legs of one of the chairs, he gave me "the look". OMG! I had such high hopes for this food because I loved that it used duck fat instead of a fish oil, which he is allergic to. Anyway, I left it in his bowl for most of the day and he just became more depressed. He wouldn't play or even interact with us much. Finally after our dinner when he still hadn't eaten, I gave him his Beyond wet food which he loved and ate it all. I know better than to push it with him so I guess that's it with this food. I gave it 4 stars because I really do think it's a decent dry food, just not for Buddy. ~sigh~ I can't/won't argue with him on that. One thing, it shows that I am reviewing the turkey/ guinea fowl, but it is actually the quail/duck.

Only Cat Food I Will Buy
Two reasons I will only buy this cat food (my cats like the salmon & chicken flavor):1. My 5-year old cat was suffering from frequent UTIs, and she would refuse to eat the vet prescribed food or regular brands of urinary health food. She would pee blood often, and it pained me that I could not find an adequate solution, despite medications, de-stress techniques, etc. I decided to switch her to a more expensive brand of food (that she used to eat as a kitten), but they changed the formula, so she no longer liked that brand. Then I found this brand. It sounds too good to be true, but my cat has not urinated a speck of blood since I switched her to this food. Maybe coincidental, maybe not. All I know is, I am not having to frantically schedule emergency vet appointments every couple of months out of the awful horror of seeing blood in her urine.2. My other cat used to eat the dog food ALL THE TIME (not good for cats at all!!). But ever since I switched to this food, he only eats this cat food now. These results prove to me that the ingredients are high quality, and my cats are very happy with this food. Also, the price is an absolute bargain compared to the vet bills and other countless bags of food I have tried.

Solved my kittens on going months long stomach issues!
I adopted a female domestic shorthair masked tuxedo kitten in early July. Her name is Sushi. At that time she was roughly 3 to 4 months old. She went from eating kibble, to cans, to kibble, at her own preference. We had a very hard time finding a food that would not upset her stomach and/or give her dihrarea. She had a major issue with that. She was most stable on blue wilderness but she still had those episodes. We decided to try something that was nutritious and minimal ingredients. We put down a bowl with 2 different types of food separated, not mixed up, one side was FussieCat Salmon and Chicken meal and the other was Blue Wilderness Duck. She barely touched the side that had Blue wilderness, and she's been eating Blue Wilderness for months! I refilled the FussieCat side about 4 times before I let her finish her food to wash the bowl. I never had to refill the side with Blue Wilderness. She has been eating FussieCat for about 4 days now and her stomach ailments have been resolved and her poop is normal again. She also is behaving more with more desire to be handled which shows me she's not having tummy aches. I will definitely buy this again in the future for Sushi. The main deciding factor of why I chose this was because I compared the ingredients and this food has a smaller ingredient list than other high protein no grain kibble. Also, it has no potatoes which I see is just carbohydrate fillers.

Best food for cats with grain or chicken allergies!
We purchased this food for our deaf and blind cat who was having some pretty awful digestive issues and also scratching and gouging his face to the point of bleeding(that’s why he is shaved in this photo so we could tend to his wounds) turns out he was having these issues because he was allergic to chicken and grain. We saw an immediate difference and i do mean almost immediate like 72 hours that he was getting relief and no longer scratching himself and his stools were finally solid! We will keep him on this food the rest of his life as long as it never changes up, it’s been a life saver not only for him but for myself who was having to fight him to clean his poop covered bottom and cleaning poop off of my floors everyday just from him sitting on them.

Alternate food recommended by my Vet
I have a cat who is battling cancer. The high end Veteranary food makes him throw up so I have changed to this on my vet’s suggestion. He is eating and keeping it down, making kitty and my rugs and floors much happier. My other two cats happily changed too.

My cat devours this stinky cat food but amazingly doesn't have stinky cat poop!
The media could not be loaded. My cat definitely likes this over the Purina One Urinary Tract Health Formula that I normally feed her. If I put a bowl of each out, she devours the Fussie Cat stuff first. And if I refill it with Fussie Cat, she will again eat that bowl first. I have to mix them to get her to eat them both. I initially got a sample of the Fussie Cat food in Salmon which she liked pretty well. So I got the Salmon as well as the Chicken. She loves them both.My cat is 2 years old, medium length hair, very active, and a solitary cat. She doesn't overeat this food, never pukes (unless I also feed her too much wet food at the same time), has a very luxurious coat, and has no problems with pooping or peeing. This stuff is kind of pricey but I'm hoping to nip any urinary problems in the bud; My last cat had many due to a diet of almost all Meow Mix for years. The vet suggested stuff with a much higher moisture content. So here I am!Update April 2020.Both of my cats love this food. But the fat one extra loves it.
