Gets hot, but small surface area
It gets quite hot, but the metal surface area only accommodates a small cup, not a mug. While the impression in the listing was that the "wood" ring around the hot surface was real wood, it is actually wood grained metal.

This is such a genius product! I I researched other sites user reviews find that others have recommended this. I found it really good after the use, it has ordered. Just as described!! work for my purpose I'm very satisfied with this purchase quality is never cheap,but it can be a bargain

Adorable
Super, super cute but doesn't get as hot as an electrical one- but that's to be expected as it is USB. Still love it though!
