Very nice for those that carry a small number of cards
I really like this wallet! Very compact, well-machined and finished. I viewed several videos and read many reviews before taking the plunge and purchasing as I have 7 cards that I must carry at all times. Of course, the biggest concern is the number of cards you can put into the back of the unit and the plate stay flush. In my case, that number is 4. The problem for many will be the number of cards with raised numbers on them....those cards will cause problems with the number you can fit into this wallet. When I insert my credit cards with the numbers at the bottom, the plate is not flush. The workaround is to simply flip the cards 180 degrees so that the numbers are at the top...the plate is now flush at the bottom and the cards are secure. I have 2 credit cards with embossed numbers and two flat licenses in the rear and the plate is flush at the bottom and slightly uneven at the top. Works perfectly, though. For the front, I have two more flat cards and my debit card with embossed numbers. Of course, all three will not fit in the leather sleeve, but there's a workaround for that, too. The debit card is the most used, so it goes into the sleeve by itself. There is also a space between the back of the sleeve and the aluminum frame that will actually hold two flat cards! I put my Costco card and my medical insurance card in there since they are less often used. With those three installed, the fit is still tight, but I'm hoping that the front leather pouch will loosen a bit with me pulling my debit card out often. The silicone band seems slightly loose with one cash note inserted, even with all of the cards in, but it still works. I'd recommend this wallet for those with less than 7 cards and fewer than 3 embossed cards. My recommendation for the manufacturer is to thicken the frame a little so that it can accommodate a couple more cards (especially embossed ones), and somehow attach the rear plate without the need for the sillicone band to secure it. Maybe add a clip on the back for cash. Otherwise, excellent minimalistic wallet that is eye-catching!

Worth every penny!
I ordered this product for myself initially. As a woman tired of having to carry a bulky wallet I thought I would try something different. A friend recommended this wallet. It was a little challenging to get used to at first. I love this wallet. I keep the card I use the most in the leather pocket and cash under the rubberband. I’ve never had anything slip out of it. It’s very durable. I’ve had the wallet over a year now and it’s still looks néw. I’ve added a key ring and clip so I can grab it and go. It fits perfect in my pocket and throw it in my little purse when not in use. My boyfriend commented that he really likes my wallet. I’ve ordered a couple different small wallets for him at the same time I received mine. I’ve now replaced those with the Django and he’s very happy with it as well! He uses the tool features far more than I do. I love the craftsmanship. I’ve received many compliments. It’s sleek and rugged. I was hesitant to order one because of the price tag. I assure you this wallet is worth the money. This may be the last wallet I ever purchase.

Snug but Good
An upgrade from my previous EDC wallet. I debated among a few of the top choices, glad I chose the Dango Dapper. My carry = DL, 8 plastic cards, 5 business cards, 4 cash bills.Pros- Larger form factor than my previous does a better job with business cards, etc.- Fits well in front pants pocket, not too heavy- Separate section for frequently used cards simplifies access- Solid construction - this one is going to last- Appearance is attractive and a bit upscale from most EDC gearCons- It is snug. Getting cards out of the middle section isn't as easy as some others- The capacity is just right for me (8), some will take a few more (this might change with time as the band relaxes)It's a keeper for sure.

Tiny and sturdy
My son actually took part in the pre-release fund raising, buying a Dango wallet before they were even constructed. When his finally arrived, I was intrigued. I checked it out and was impressed. The construction was excellent. The design was ingenious and simple. The only issue for me was, I couldn't carry enough cards. I regularly carry about 14 different cards, credit, several types of identification, status cards and the like. However, I really wanted that tiny wallet. It's so small, fits deep in your front pocket. So, I finally took the time & trouble to eliminate a bunch of cards, figured out exactly what I had to have with me and what I could skip carrying. I managed to get it down to seven. You can fit three in the front, where the leather is, and four in the back with the aluminum still sitting close enough to be "closed".I've been carrying it for about a week now and I'm quite happy. I travel frequently for work, including to other countries. I haven't worked out yet how I'm going to deal with moving between the US, the UK and the EU, with three different currencies. That may be a challenge for this tiny wallet. However, who cares. I've simplified and reduced what I'm carrying so that my pockets are stuffed as I walk out the door. That was the goal of getting this wallet and it worked well.

Great mans wallet
My husband's second one in 10 years. He loves the thinness of it and the elastic just started to loosen

I like it but am not sure it's totally worth the price
I like the look of this wallet/money clip but am not sure it's worth the price. It does hold a bunch of cards and you can put cash under the rubber band. It looks quite nice also. But it is pricey and kinda hard to get a card out, easy to take them all out but hard to take just one out. Again I like it but for the price I'm not sure I would purchase it again, I'll have to see how long it lasts and that will influence my decision on the next time around.
