Lovely & well made. Very easy to assemble and boxed well. Would have given 5 stars but 1 lamp shade was a little dirty. Luckily it is near the back of the shade so you can’t see it. They look lovely in my living room.

We purchased this beautiful set of 2 Lamps from Lamps plus ! Assembly was easy and the lamps look fantastic on our Living room end tables.One of the lamp shades had a minor flaw on it so we asked Lampsplus for a replacement shade. Reanne B. responded promptly and indicated that she would put in a replacement for 1 shade! Excellent customer service! Definitely will buy from Lamsplus again when we have lighting needs!

First, I will say that I spent considerable time researching lamps before I decided on this product. I was specifically looking for a rotary switch (not touch) with real lampshades (not ones you had to put together). It was surprisingly difficult to find something that fit the bill. When I found these, I was impressed with the great reviews so I ordered them. I was impressed with the fast delivery (within two days) and how well these were packaged. (I was mildly surprised that some folks complained about this, but I guess you can't please everyone.) They were easy to put together; no need to read the instructions. However, as some mentioned, it can be a bit of a pain to screw in the top since the cord wants to flip around. Not difficult, just kind of annoying. The only thing I can really "complain" about is, like other users mentioned, these are advertised as hand forged, but as you can see, they are made in China, so likely not "hand forged" and more likely machine produced. It might be a sticking point for others when it comes to truth in advertising, but I really could care less about that since the overall quality for the price was impressive. They are sturdy but definitely not bronze as advertised. Another advertising ding. But I had read this in other reviews and knew that they would be black, which was fine for my decor. I liked them so much that I ordered the cream colored set as a gift for my mom. Overall, I would definitely recommend these lamps. The minor issues perhaps knock them down to 4-4.5 stars, but the quick shipping, great packaging and overall appearance and quality keep them at 5 stars for me. Time will tell if they last, but I'm quite pleased for now.
