Add a Bug | Premium Poultry Mix Dried Mealworms, Silkworm Pupae and Grasshoppers | 1 lb

My chickens are like cats - they will promptly come running to me if I gently shake the bag of Add a Bug mealworms! I wish the 3 pound bags were in stock more frequently for the cost savings. Will buy again!

Bearded dragon really liked these bugs. I was surprised at the quality of the mix, a lot of mealworms but balanced out well with the silkworms larvae and crickets. Would buy again!

I'm a city girl with a small back yard. I don't have poultry, except on my plate. But WOW the kick these gave to the local birds! I guess the word got around fast, because within a few hours of mixing this stuff in about a 1:10 ratio with regular bird seed, there were flocks of jays, cardinals, and the other local suspects. The down side is that once the birds figure out that there are mealworms in the mix, they hurl the rest of the seeds down to the ground, digging for the treats. But it's okay. The sparrows and the doves clean up the ground seed. :)

We have 6 chicks. Well, chickens, now. They're just about a year old. They're awesome! All girls. We call them "the girls". Their absolute favorite thing to eat is dried mealworms. We use them to get them back in their run after they've been outside for a bit. They loved this mix too! They love bugs of all kinds and really went to town on this mix of stuff. Sure it's kind of gross to me, but for them it's heaven! We sure spoil these girls.

Hand-fed worms? Okay. I’ll take it. It conjures up a funny image in my mind, but this delicious blend of bugs looked easily identifiable. I could tell what bug was what. There weren’t a lot of broken bugs and bug dust at the bottom so that’s great. I toss a small handful to my chickens daily since they can’t free-range this time of year. It’s a good way to get their protein, and if I am to trust the bag they are transparent about what the bugs are fed and where they are raised. A great treat for my chickens in the winter!
