Magnets are not very strong but okay for light hold

I use these magnet clasps for the older ladies in my life to make it easy for them to wear their favorite jewelry again in spite of arthritic hands. I wish these magnets were stronger. They are weak enough that I’m afraid jewelry can be easily torn off the wrist or neck. They are very pretty, though, and inexpensive. Best for only inexpensive jewelry that won’t be devastating if it gets lost.

In using theses magnets for bracelet making, Im finding the magnets weak and unreliable. I have had complaints from customers. Disappointed.

I bought these clasps to make beaded bracelets and necklaces with real gemstone beads, like 7mm garnet, tourmaline aquamarine etc. While the clasps worked good for bracelets made of lighter-weighted stones (not as strong of a hold as what i think as optimal) it still will stay closed for the most part but will come off with rougher activities/movements. For heavier-weighted stones like my 20in, 7mm garnet and tigers eye necklace, it cant hold at all. I havent tried it with lighter-weighted stones on a necklace but i imagine it wont be strong enough considering how it is with the bracelet. I would only use for light weight smaller projects otherwise save your money and get stronger magnetic clasps

These magnetics seem strong and the appearance is clean design just simple and good appearance.

So easy to use for bracelets I made for granddaughter and she loves them also. So worth the money.
