Improvement to my home speaker setup
I have noticed that many home tower speakers are not so endowed with a tweeter that can reproduce high hats from drums or a true "S" sound in singing. They are more "soft" sounding fabric dome and tend to poorly reproduce the very high end. This wouldn't be so bad if you could just make up for the deficiency using an EQ, but you can't. Adding this Alpine tweeter to my home system replaced the true recorded sound and I can reduce it by turning down the 15K+ response in my receiver EQ. Now I can enjoy full range playback of my music collection. Thank you Alpine.

Great buy!
The low to high frequency adapters (base blockers) are trash one didn't work so I put both in the trash, but rest assured these little guys can handle the amps! (Now at risk of blowing them without the base blocker)

Sound great, but definitely not authentic
They're probably the best sounding tweeters I've used. But as seen in my pics, clearly they are Chinese remakes judging by the multiple "made in China" labels everywhere lol. Still, they look great and sound great. Mounting took some work as there's no threaded hole on the back to be able to mount it, and the outer trim ring is really easy to pop off, making it easy to fall apart, but otherwise I'm happy.
