I ordered these because I had a shrimp with a clutch of eggs. The mesh came in just in time and I have a happy aquarium full of little red cherry shrimps.It’s a tight fit on my filter. Definitely saved the day for the time shrimps. Without it, they would have just been sucked in and lost.Feels like good steel, hasn’t rusted or anything after a week or so of being underwater. Holding up very well in my conditions.Would recommend to anyone who needs to protect baby shrimp from their filters

Was completely smashed flat when it arrived. Easy to bend back in shape but the plastic seals will not go back on and stay.

The product has sharp wire edge that will cut you, so, think what it could do to your finned babies. The ends come off the product as well leaving sharp jagged ends. Very poorly made. If you buy it, just throw it out. Very dangerous for your fish. Get a plastic cover or just use a piece of window sceen and rubberband.

Works really well with my Whisper 40 filter. That 18mm diameter is difficult to find.

Used it for my fx6 pump. Too small but I used glue to fit on the inletpipe. One con, not plastic. So it can harm anemone
