My favorite towels
This towel and Bless Linen’s striped towel are my favorite towels.I moved to a humid climate. I hate humidity. I hate the way it feels on my skin, feels to breathe it, and how it makes a bathroom smell like a wet dog no matter how clean it is. In hot and/or humid weather, my linen clothes are my absolute favorites, so I started hunting for linen towels that would not break the bank and/or leave me feeling ripped-off because of poor quality, which was no easy feat. Thus far, Bless Linen towels are my best linen towel purchases. This specific towel is:Large — It will easily wrap fully around large bodies with towel to spare as easily as it does small bodies.Thin — It is easy tuck it in securely after wrapping it around the body. Not too thin — It is not super thin like so many linen table cloths and linen aprons from popular high-priced retailers we all know. Those are so thin they are almost like handkerchiefs, wrinkling horribly and stubbornly, and not hanging nicely! Not these towels though. I won’t iron so I don’t mind a natural, lived-in, non-ironed look; in fact, I prefer it because I think it is homier. These towels are thick enough that if they’re taken out of the dryer promptly and folded or hung up, they hang neatly.Space saving — Because this towel is thinner and lighter in weight than the average cotton towel, it takes up much less space on a shelf. It makes a great travel towel for the same reason.Absorbent — It absorbs faster than the thick cotton towels we used to use, so toweling off takes less time.Fast drying — In a humid climate, these linen towels dry so must faster than our cotton towels did. I can stand going into my bathroom after people have showered now. They also dry much faster in the electric dryer after washing, even on the low-heat, delicate cycle that I use, saving precious, expensive energy.Easy to launder — I wash all of my linen clothes, sheets, coverlets, and towels in cold water on the delicate cycle and I dry the linen sheets, coverlets, and towels in my electric dryer on the low-heat, delicate cycle. I use a gentle laundry detergent or laundry soap, and a water softener because I live in hard-water country. Never bleach or anything harsh! These towels have laundered just fine, suffered no shrinkage, and they dry really fast. It’s a breeze to fold them and put them on the linen closet shelf.Soft — Even when brand new, these towels are softer than many linen towels and aprons I purchased. After washing and drying, they are even softer.Fairly priced. No pretentiousness in the pricing. This towel is not:Gray — It is a tannish-goldenish wheat color. Bless Linen’s striped towel does have gray stripes, but this towel is a distinctly different color.

Very soothing to use - heavy weight - great absorbency - dries fast
This is so soft. Many linen towels are not this soft unless they are over the top EXPENSIVE...for this buyer anyway. I really like this towel, it is well made, great looking and dries very fast either air drying or even quicker in the dryer. This is great quality linen!

May not win a beauty contest but great towel!
First off I have been discovering all things linen and this was my first experience with a linen towel. Up until now I have used soft fluffy cotton and I was happy... or so I thought! This towel dries you in about a tenth of the time that it takes cotton. If only I could get back all the time I wasted drying off with cotton! The product description says to expect nubs and knots and they are not kidding it almost looks like it’s pilled. But I don’t care it smells so natural and feels amazing it is soft but has a slight exfoliating effect it’s energizing! I took pics to show the knots and nubs and you can also see how thick it is. The person holding the towel up is 5’9” so you get an idea of the size. Get this towel you won’t regret it!

Fabulous Towel!
I love linen. It lasts longer than cotton, absorbs better, and isn't GMO like most cotton is (unless you can find organic). I use linen kitchen towels and our whole family uses linen bath towels. I like them all, but this is the best I have found and here's why:1 - Size: This towel is larger than the others I have bought, making it easier to use since we are all tall.2 - SOFT: This is the softest linen towel I have ever felt and used! I don't mind stiff linen, it doesn't hurt my skin and it's like getting a good scrub, but I love this softer version - like a vintage quality damask Irish linen tablecloth - only not as expensive.3 - Price: This is one of the least expensive larger linen towels I have found. The ones that cost less are considerably smaller than this one.All in all, this is my favorite towel and I will be getting more for the rest of my family. I highly recommend it!

good size, pieces of stuff (flax?) woven in
The size is nice. More like a standard towel rather than those tiny ones. I would describe the color as oatmeal. It feels thickish and durable (for linen). I don’t like soft or fluffy fabrics. I have fabric sensitivities. Also have humidity/mildew/mold in my home (coastal living). So I’ve been trying to switch my towels and stuff out for more suitable, fast drying cottons and linens. I’ve washed this twice, used once so far. Absorbency seems fine but I will update after a few weeks of use. No noticeable shrinkage. The fabric is quite rough...even for linen. Which is ok but I’m mostly concerned about the loose threads and a bunch of splinter like pieces woven into the fabric...like maybe all of the flax wasn’t processed? I don’t know.. I haven’t seen this in any of my other linen items. Scratches & pokes when drying face and sensitive bits. 3 stars for now, will update after more use.

Wonderful wonderful linen towel
I came about getting this towel in a roundabout way. I had been reading one of those books - something like what its like to live in Victorian day London. Well, they spoke that one of the best things the people back then did was to use linen and to use linen towels on dry skin. Linen is so absorbent, so natural, so strong - that it does a wonderful rub down of the body and ridding it of excess oil, smells, dirt or grime. It washes well, it smells wonderful and I couldn't be happier with this towel. Its just funny how I learned the value and wonderful uses for linen.

Great towel
Incredible high-quality towel, love the texture and how it dries quickly. It's a little rough at first but that would not be a problem after use and several washes.

Love! Soft and functional.
I have purchased a few linen items on ETSY and these towels are superior. They are well constructed and much softer than the ETSY items. The loop is perfect for hanging (linen doesn't stay on a hook like terrycloth towels) and it's a generous size fitting around me more than 1.5 times hanging to my knees (I'm a pretty narrow person). Very absorbent and dries quickly. I will not be going back to terrycloth... ever!
