Great for the price, plenty of height adjustment features. Great value.
Great projector stand. Plenty of options to raise the height and the angle using the legs, good flat projector surface which folds away. It’s basically a camera tripod with a plastic folding projector base which screws on the tripod. The base is a bit flimsy and thin but it does the job just fine. It folds away into 1/3 of its size and detached from the tripod base for storage which is very useful. The tripod has three legs; all of which extend independently so you can get the tripod level on an uneven surface. When all the legs are fully extended it’s very tall and quite stable. There’s a round thing on the base which you tighten and it holds the legs open to prevent them from accidentally folding in.It has a handle at the top which you wind and it raises the top platform up and down for fine tuning the height. You can then lock this by screwing a knob on the side to stop it winding itself back down again. The winding part is made of aluminium and the surround is plastic, so the metal sometimes cuts into the plastic grooves and makes it a bit wobbly over time, not sure how long this will last before it stops working. So overall it’s a good cheap projector stand. It does the job and can go quite high from the floor. For the price and the features, it deserves 5 stars. Perfect for home use as it’s not as robust as an industrial stand for office use etc.

Lightweight, but robust, stand; easy to adjust
I wanted a stand for the projector I have set up in my home gym (garage), as I had been using a table which limited my options in terms of heights / angles / screen size. As I have a portable screen, I also wanted a light and portable stand that I can take away when we go on holiday. This caught my eye, due to its small size and also the amount you are able to adjust it. When it arrived, it did feel very light in the travel bag it comes in. However, once opened and fixed in place, it is robust and feels more substantial. You can adjust each of the three legs through 3 different levels of height settings, and there's also a sprit level bubble in the main housing that will show you when you're on the level. The tray folds out flat, and can be lifted more than a foot higher than the lowest setting - giving you plenty of options on placement.

Lightweight and just the right height
I work in the community organising projects and events. Recently I bought a projector and I assumed that would be perfect for my work. I quickly realised that stacking the projector on top of books on top of a table was not a good idea. I discovered this projector tripod and thought I’d give it a go .... it’s ideal for the job. It extends to a good height, and seems to be made perfectly for my projector. The base is wide enough it won’t easily get knocked over. The stand is simple to erect, just unclick, adjust and click in the brackets again. The top bit is adjusted by a little crank handle. The actual projector tripod has a carry handle so you can move it about and reposition easily. I projector stand and “table” fold neatly into a two compartment bag which keeps it all together for easy storage and transport.

Let Down by Flimsy Platform
Tripod seems relatively well made for this price point and offers a good amount of height adjustment and neatly packaged with a stowaway bag. The folding platform is a good idea in principle but it is also the major fault of the tripod, due to the thin material and hinges, that allow it to unfold, there is far too much flex in the platform. Any minor adjustments such as positioning, height, ensuring a perfect level and even focussing a projector it is very susceptible to flexing even with the mildest of pressure which unfortunately makes adjustments very tricky. Also overall the platform doesn’t make you feel very confident as to the safety of your expensive projector balancing on it. Possibly if you have a mini projector it might be fine but using a regular size video projector, in my case an Optoma HD 143X, I just don't feel it's secure. It's a shame as a thicker and better engineered platform would have made this a 4 - 5 Star review but as it is I have returned the tripod, as it cannot perform its primary function, and purchased one with a sturdier metal platform with straps which feels far more secure and doesn't flex at the slightest touch.

Flimsy plate for projector
The projector stand arrived as promised and was then put away for my Christmas present from my wife. This year, I have only used it 2 - 3 times for talks which I give to groups. The actual stand is very good. Just like any camera tri-pod. It is lightweight and easy to carry around in its carrying case. When erecting it, remember to tighten the locking pieces for the legs and after raising the stem BEFORE putting your projector on it. I mistake which I made on its first outing and the stem collapsed with the projector on it. Fortunately, I managed to catch it before any damage was done, but it couldhave been an expensive mistake. As others have said, the plastic folding plate is very flimsy and I have to wonder how long it will last.Otherwise, a reasonable product at a reasonable price.
