Not suited to the UAE climate
It does not have the cooling capability needed for UAE temperatures, and while it is stated as 1 Ton it can not be compared to either a window or wall mount A/c at the same rating. It's biggest problem however is that it keeps shutting off the compressor (and so the cooling) when the humidity is high because its internal evaporation tank is full. There is no way to connect the drainage to allow the unit to operate continually, so you have to accept that it will switch on and off frequently (every 10 minutes for 20 minutes). I was going to return it, but would have had to wait for a replacement or refund, so I kept it as an "emergency backup" - but can not use it for its intended purpose. Very disappointing for such a well respected brand.
