Quirky and Super Useful!
I love the fun design of this dispenser. But it's more than that - they really thought through the use of this! Pros: - Clear bottom - That way you can see when you're running low on soap - Clean design - It's really sleek and there's no little pump head to press on; the whole thing is a pump, so it's super easy to press. - Full pumps - You get a good amount of soap dispensed per pump, and it's really smooth. Also, I never felt that it would tip over. - Long/angled nozzle - Just a good design feature! - Build - it seems really well constructed and durable. Cons - None!

Cute soap dispenser, easy to fill
Was looking for a soap dispenser that was easy to fill and wouldn't look terrible after a month of use. My previous dispenser nossle started to turn from a nice metal finish to a chipped discolored mess. Not to mention filling it was a little time consuming. This dispenser has a nice wide mouth so filling is super easy. And I love the design and the plastic top as it is easy to use and clean.

Unique Design - Small Compact Size - Dispenses Soap Well
I like the unique design of this Umbra Soap Dispenser. I got it for the bathroom so I like the compact design fits under the mirror door of built in medicine cabinet. it dispenses soap well in one single press It seems well made - But the plastic "grade" it feels slightly "flimsy" - hence 4 star rating But it stays upright and I can deal with the light weight because of the design. I would have liked it if the plastic were slightly more dense to give it a more solid feel. As pictured - I have mixed it with the UVIVIU Cup for the Sink and Soap Tray for the shower.

Unique Design
Very cute and easy to refill. Only complaint is the tip tends to rust, you must clean it every so often

Functional & attractive
I like these dispensers from Umbra. The bottom screws off for filling then back on. Press down on the top of the dispenser & out come your soap. The only drawback it it tends to clog if left too long. So say after vacation it may need cleaning to work right. I suppose with small children it might get rather dirty as the hand must push the top down. We have only adults in out home so not a problem for us. The exterior does clean up easily.

Not really good for one-handed dispensing or for kids
I bought this with the intent of putting it in the kids' bathroom (our kids are 5 and under) for them to use. Sometimes they've had problems working the standard soap pumps, and right now we've got an automatic "hand sensing" dispenser in there for them. This is kind of a challenging pump to use for a number of reasons. For one, most pumps you can operate by keeping your hand under the spout and pressing down on the top with your thumb. This dispenser pretty much requires that you use one hand to push the entire top shell down, while you keep your other hand under the metal spout. Second, the force required to depress the pump is somewhat high. You've got to really press to get it to work, and that might not be easy to do with wet, slippery hands. Third, the pump is a bit unstable. The base tapers in at the bottom, so while you've got the sink and the pump all wet, the slippery soap remnants and the water you just added mix with the large amount of force you need to work the pump and the narrow base, and you're likely to end up tipping the pump over into the sink. This doesn't happen all the time, but it seems like some better design would go a long way.

Cute or elegant, or both?!
I love these dispensers! Bought two of them to conceal brand names of shampoo/conditioner in my really beautiful contemporary bathroom (they're in the shower, rather than used as a dispenser on the sink). The matte finish is hip, the grey picks up colors in the slate tiles, and the shape is adorable: looks like a little penguin or a robot. But still somehow elegant :) I read a review of this in another color: the customer had a tough time figuring out how to open. Mine came with a mini diagram on a sticker of how to open it and it is akin to opening a medicine bottle: push/turn. So, I can imagine that without that, it might be puzzling at first. Also note that one of the two opens much more easily than the other, so they may vary in how easy they are to open. I highly recommend this!
