Excellent Bright Light; Looks Like Police From Distance
I have been road biking on DANGEROUS San Francisco streets for 30 years. Here in California it is now a law that bikes have a headlight and taillight. I have always complied with the law because I don't want a two-ton car riding up my bike front or rear. The best thing since sliced bread was the development of LED lights. In 2019 LED lights are bright, multi-mode, compact, run a long time on batteries, and are inexpensive. As an added bonus, these lights now come in any color bulbs that you desire. Clear, red, green, blue, it is all good.I bought this "light bar" because it has the strobe effect, AND THE COLORS INCLUDE BLUE BULBS! Why blue? Because I made a discovery about 10 years ago, when drivers see a blue flashing light they wake up, are on full alert, and pass by me very slowly, at the speed limit or slower. Yes, you guessed it, they think the blue flashing light is a cop.Where I walk my dogs cars speed past, usually because drivers are enraged with San Francisco's stop n' go traffic, where on streets there's a stop sign or traffic light on just about every intersection within the city. (Walking a dog is like walking into harm's way.) And it doesn't help that our streets are dark or dimly lit. Solution: this LED light in blue flashing strobe mode. I attach them to my dog's collars and leashes. In 2019 I am now an expert on what constitutes an effective light that will keep me on the bike, or when walking the dogs. What matters to me and I like about these lights: 1) brightness; 2) how long the light lasts on battery power; and 3) having different modes to choose from (color, flashing sequence, strobe, and size. This light satisfies all my needs, with an added bonus: I can set the two lights on my handlebar to use as headlights (by selecting the light to "white bulb, no flashing/steady on.")The blue LED bulb on strobe mode that's what I call "police strobe" is quite impressive. You can have the blue, red, and white bulbs flash, or set it to strobe (which is quite effective).I have two of these small light bars mounted on my bike's handlebar. Depending on the road I'm riding on, I may have one light set to be used as a headlight. Sometimes I may have both in "headlight mode." At other times I may have both in "police strobe mode." (You will definitely be noticed if you have these lights flashing in strobe mode.)I used the included rubber mounting bands to fasten two lights on my dog's leash. They are most effective in deterring reckless speeders from driving past me going 40 MPH (which is a clogged residential area). These lights appear well constructed. They have a small footprint, which is nice if you are like me, mounting all kinds of crap on your bikes (camera, phone, horn, lights, GPS).Bottom line: worth the money IMO.WARNING: Here in California the Vehicle Code makes illegal a vehicle to use any kind of white strobe lights that other drivers may think is the police. And of course, flashing blue lights will get you a trip to jail in handcuffs. For many rules of the road bicycles (including e-bikes) are considered "vehicles" for obeying rules of the road. (We have to stop at stop signs, come to a full stop, then proceed, must stop at a red light and wait for the light to turn green.) Rules of the road are loosely enforced against bike riders. E.g. bikes usually run stop signs and illegally run red lights if there's no traffic. Bike riders have been arrested and prosecuted for drunk driving, the same as if it was a car, not a bike. That said, I have never been stopped by the police for having flashing blue lights on my bikes. I suspect it is because police know riding a bike in San Francisco is taking your life into your hands. Moreover, they probably appreciate that my blue lights are slowing down speeding or reckless drivers.Your town or city may differ. I'm not saying you're going to get busted for impersonating a police officer, but if an officer sees you, who is having a bad day for whatever reason, a flashing blue light might become an issue. So use these at your own risk.

Very good "police" light.
Very bright red/blue/white flashing lights that anyone can see from far away. I purchased this light for an E-Bike that the police department received from a state grant. The light lasts a very long time before you have to recharge it. It is simple to install. The price is reasonable. We bought twelve "police" lights, and this light is our top pick.

No problems with this light
There are few lights made that attach to easily provide good visibility from the side. I gifted a friend with a couple who said recently that the reviews were bad, with the major fault being the charge connection port was frequently cited as breaking. As a reader can see, there are a large number of reviews, a very high percentsge are quite good, and few of the small numbers of bad reviews mention a bad connection. I bought several for my bikes over four years ago and a couple extras for when one gave out. I put one extra on a new bike and the other extra is still in a drawer. The lights I put on the bike four years back continue to hold their charge well and remain as bright as ever. In mass-produced electronics like this, there are sure to be a few defective ones. I recommend testing right away while the Amazon return policy is still extant. Forget trying to do a return later to almost any Asian manufacturer. Their culture of operation is to mass produce & sell electronics and to discard them when they fail, not to try to service or repair them. When they do make a bad product, it soon shows up in reviews here. But my experience is that of the majority posting here. This is a remarkably good product. I'll buy it again if it remains available.

It's an attention getter
This tail-light is quite bright. It has a variety of light schemes, most of them involving flashing red, white, and blue. There is one that's just red, and it's the one I usually use. It's also the one that's easiest on the battery. You don't get a lot of time on the others, maybe a couple of hours. I used the red, white, and blue scheme for an hour ride, didn't recharge, then went for another hour ride with it. It had run out of battery by the time I got home. So you'll be recharging this thing a lot. Small battery + bright lights = short runtime.

Great Quality Lights
The media could not be loaded. Bought two of these lights for me and my younger brother’s scooters and their quality and modes are great. Very bright while being very quick and easy to install. Was worth the money.
