Great exposure of the legal drug trafficking that happens in the US
Zigler does a great job of sharing his personal story around the opiate epidemic that has been supported by the pharmaceutical companies and the government. This is exposed not just through his story of addiction, but also of his story of recovery through Ibogaine - a substance that is illegal in the US. Overall a very entertaining story by a brave author. In response to those complaining about the poor editing, as a fellow non-professional writer (check out Drugs and Spirituality by Christopher France if you are interested) that the content is so much more important than the editing.Good job Mr. Zigler, keep up the good work!

Compelling! Should be a movie!
This book was very good and makes a compelling case for the our country to allow IBOGAINE treatment for drug addiction. This personal testimony about the sincere desperation of a prescription drug addict's need to be FREE, was the best story about drug addiction I have ever heard! So many people don't have this opportunity, and I am very happy this author was so determined to find his freedom, no matter what it took. Not many people have the means, nor the sheer determination that he had, and his experience kept me on the edge of my seat. More people need to know about this type treatment, because our government's reticence to allow it's legalization could be killing people every single day. You will be left wondering "why?" this isn't being used as a choice of treatment. A great read!

This book is a captivating story of one man's efforts to rid himself of a drug addiction using a more powerful and hallucinogenic drug. Fighting fire with fire. A Must read!!!

It is the worst edited book I have ever read. And it's published under a vanity press, so I guess that explains it.
The story is pretty compelling, though. I would have liked to have had more evidence and more testimonials, in order to believe him, especially considering the poor editing.

Sad that our country refuses it due to the pharmaceutical ...
More people should learn about Ibogaine and how it truly resets your addicted body to original norm! Sad that our country refuses it due to the pharmaceutical industry. No money in the cure!
