HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a newborn gift or for your own baby. I have gotten at least 20 compliments on this blanky that I bought for my baby girl I had December 5. It's super super soft & feels nice on her skin. *I do caution leaving it with the baby overnight or near their face because it will get blanket fur/fuzzies in their mouth and on their pacifier real bad.* Other than that, it's a great price for this pretty extremely soft/silky little baby blanket.

Incredibly Soft!
All baby blankets are soft, but this one feels almost luxurious. I wish they made adult blankets that felt like this. I purchased this as my daughter's "coming home" blanket, and she's now 3-months-old. It's been spit up on and washed several times without issue. The furry pink fabric on the backside of the blanket hasn't shed at all, as I was somewhat concerned about. My daughter smiles and kind of nuzzles the blanket when we stroke her face with it.

Medallion baby blanket very soft!Good quality material and very soft plush gave blanket so worth it for the money very very good deal! However when you wash should be careful not to use a lot of this detergent because it will make it warm together so I had to rinse it out couple of times! I don’t have that nice and thick heavy as in good material!

One if my best baby blankets especially for the cold weather! Initially I thought I would return the product as I noticed the furs were pulling out of the fabric but after washing it and putting in the dryer all got cleared away. Now I enjoy my baby blanket! It is soft with beautiful print!

Perfect for Dog Bed, Not as Thick as Carters
This blanket is quite soft. The colors and pattern are as pictured. It's not quite as thick as a similar looking blanket made by Carters, which could be a pro or a con depending on what you're going for. I haven't washed it yet, but all of my other Hudson baby items have held up beautifully. This was purchased to go over a large dog bed, and will suit the dog just fine. It wouldn't make a good swaddle blanket for baby, although could be good as a quick cover up in the stroller or when you're holding baby.
