BLU T176T Jenny TV 2.8 Unlocked Quad-Band Dual SIM Phone (Black/Blue)

This is a wonderful masterpiece of 21st century's high technology. I've got a tv receiver that works so great I feel I'm living in the Jetsons cartoon world. I am very glad with my tv cell phone and the good service provided by Amazon. I highly recommend blu because truly delivers quality at low cost. Buy this device, it is the best analog tv ever.

Bought this phone for my Dad, was easy to navigate for him and I liked it size wise. It is a good phone for someone who wants simple and big numbers. OnlyNegative is there is a continous buzzing sound while you are using it. Small phone storag.

I bought two of these phones BLU Jenny TV 2.8 in different colors (black/blue+black/red), after receive it and charge batteries by 24-hours before the first power on (as instructed in the box) we start to discover many faults which makes me feel very dissapointed.- The ring volume don't save setup, I specify Ring style 2 with volume level 5, and after save it always stays at volume level 3.- In the black/blue phone only works the SIM slot 1, no matter how many different SIM cards I try at the SIM slot 2, don't recognize any, showing all the time at screen (Insert SIM)- Between the two phones the incorporated earpiece provides different sound quality, in the black/blue the earpiece sounds just like any other basic/low-end phone (don't expect high quality sound) but the earpiece on the black/red phone is really bad and sounds cracky.- During calls the other person comment they hear some noise or echo while they talk.- The hands free function is near unusable, the volume setting is very low.- The incorporated Analog TV always show grainy tuned channels, I try with full extension of the incorporated antenna and never get solid channel tuning, compared to a TV with standard antenna which provides great channel tuning in the same room.- The audio player is very basic, no EQ function and files are retrieved automatically from a single specified directory to make a playlist.- Time to time pressing the # key to change between General and Meeting profile (sound or vibration) the phone restart and you need power it off, remove the battery, put it on again and power it on, after this the function is recognized again.Personally I will never buy again a BLU phone.---[ Español ]---------------------------------------------Compré dos de estos teléfonos BLU Jenny TV 2.8 en diferentes colores (negro/azul + negro/rojo), después de recibirlos y cargarlos por 24-horas antes de encenderlos por primera vez (como está instruído en el empaque) comenzados a descubrir múltiples fallas que me hicieron sentir muy decepcionado.- No almacena la configuración del volúmen de repique, he específicado el estilo de timbre 2 con nivel de volumen 5, y después de aceptar el nivel de volumen regresa nuevamente al nivel 3.- En el teléfono negro/azúl solo funciona el Slot para el SIM 1, no importa cuantas tarjetas SIM diferentes he probado en el Slot del SIM 2, no reconoce ninguna y siempre muestra en pantalla (Insert SIM)- Entre ambos teléfonos (mismo modelo/diferente color) la pieza del auricular provee una calidad de sonido distinta, en el negro/azúl el sonido se escucha como en cualquier otro teléfono básico (no esperes alta calidad) pero el auricular del teléfono negro/rojo es realmente malo.- Durante las llamadas las otras personas comentan que escuchan un ruido como un zumbido o eco mientras ellas hablan.- La función de manos libres es prácticamente inútil, el nivel de volúmen es muy bajo.- En los dos teléfonos la TV análoga incorporada siempre muestra canales pobremente sintonizados, lo he intentado con la antena totalmente extendida y nunca obtengo un canal bien sintonizado, comparado con un TV de antena estándar que brinda buena sintonización de canales, en el mismo cuarto.- El reproductor de audio/música es muy básico, no incorpora función de ecualizador y los archivos son obtenidos automáticamente de un solo directorio para construir una lista de reproducción, si almacenas tus archivos en otro directorio no podrán ser incluidos en la lista de reproducción.- En ambos teléfonos de vez en cuando al presionar la tecla # para cambiar entre el perfil General y el de Reunión (sonido o vibración) el teléfono se reinicia y es necesario apagarlo, remover la bateria, insertarla nuevamente y encenderlo, para que esta función sea reconocida nuevamente.Personalmente, yo nunca compraré de nuevo un teléfono BLU.

Nice phone, pretty versatile with all the features - I especially like the large display, alarm, radio, black list and bright LED flashlight. I haven't found a way to adjust the volume and the sound is not the greatest but you can plug in earphones and the radio sounds great. It's fairly large (5"x 21/4") and unless you lock it, the buttons will be very easily pressed in your pocket. I couldn't tell if the battery indicator was working at first, you have to look at it at the right angle (from above) to see the difference in colors, but it works. Overall a great phone for the price if you need to travel outside the US, because of the Quad-band capability (you will still need to get a SIM card in the country you are travelling to).

Did everything I needed. Sound quality was great and battery life was good too.. It was easy to figure out, even for a low tech guy. Will use it again for travels or a backup ..thanks Amazon...jm

Very simple in use but no options to customise settins such as ring volume, ring tipe, screen saving picture.

It works for me perfectly ,although it is not smartphone. It saves me much money to invest a mobile phone having a lots feature but I seldom used them. For example, I am not used to viewing WiFi on a smaill screen on a mobile phone. A WiFi Tablet plays that role for me.

Needed this for my father, he is older and needs a simple phone, it seems to be working and easy enough for him to navigate it.
