Affordable Glucose/Dextrose in a great resealable bag.
I have purchased this product twice now and love it. It comes in a study bag with a quality resealable top. It is just pure glucose which is the easiest sugar to absorb and gives you almost instant energy. Basically regular sugar is made of glucose and fructose and fructose is harder to absorb and can give you digestive issues if taken in large quantities. This is not quite as sweet as fructose with a slightly more tart flavor. If you've ever had Smarties they are made of glucose. However this comes in powder form and is easy to spoon into coffee or recipes. Great product. I was very happy to finally be able to find Dextrose/Glucose in an affordable large quantity.

Great Value!
I use this during intense workouts and it really helps preserve my energy. The powder dissolves quickly and there is indeed no taste, which is what I like about it more. Highly recommend for ppl who run or have long intense workout sessions.

Good quality bulk Dextrose powder!
Item arrived on time and in good condition. The zip foil pouch is pretty heavy duty and came sealed from the manufacturer. I like keeping my powders and dry goods in glass jars so I transferred the dextrose into 2 quart size mason jars. The powder is white and has a fine granular consistency. I purchased this to help with fermentation of DIY cured meats and sausages. This worked like a charm and a little goes a long way for this purpose. I may also use it for other homemade ferments, baking and post workout shakes. It is about 70% as sweet as table sugar (aka sucrose) and is easily absorbed and recognized by the body. I've purchased NOW Dextrose powder before years ago, and I am glad they now offer a non GMO version. Good quality and reasonably priced product from a trusted brand!

Mycology Liquid Culture Champion
Dextrose as a liquid culture medium? Absolutely brilliant! Mycelium thrived like it was on vacation in a crystal-clear broth. I half-expected it to sprout tiny sunglasses and start sipping a margarita. However, my grand experiment with Sabouraud-Dextrose Agar? Not so much. The mycelium seemed more confused than productive, probably wondering why the 'ground' was closer to soup. I’ll admit, I may have messed up the recipe—turns out agar is supposed to be solid. Who knew?Still, solid marks for the dextrose in the LC. If only my agar game were as strong as my liquid culture skills, I’d be unstoppable. Pro tip: double-check your agar proportions, or you'll be growing mushrooms in Jello.

A perfect transition from table sugar, sucrose, to glucose.
A way to transition from very sweet table sugar to less sweet glucose/ dextrose. Love the resealable packaging. Not always easy to find this volume of glucose in a powder form.

Just what I expected
If you are trying to avoid sugar, but you want a source of carbohydrates, then this is the product you want. Sugar (sucrose) is a combination of two simple sugars, glucose and fructose. You can't live without glucose, but you don't need fructose. Fructose can easily be converted into fat in the liver. In fact, fructose does the same thing to your liver that alcohol does, without the buzz. If you are trying to lose weight, then avoiding fructose is very helpful. Even so, you still need some carbs. Your brain has to have glucose to function. Glucose powder (this product) is great. It gives you the energy, and it causes less weight gain than fructose. It's not very sweet, but I think it is sweet enough. I add it to my protein shakes. If you want your drinks to be a little sweeter, you can add Stevia.
