perfect fit
I needed a 6 pin din plug to replace a broken foot switch from an old Peavey Amp. Wired it what I needed and plugged it in. Works perfect.

Good enough
Not any issues with the product but my soldering skills.

Kind of chintzy, but worked OK for my application.
Not the most rugged or well constructed connector, but at this price you're not getting amphenol level stuff.

The male plug isn't meant to be soldered
It looks fine and everything was good until I was ready connect the wires to the female plug. It's obviously meant for some type of connector to be pushed onto the pins on the back of the plug, and not to be soldered. You can tell because these pins are not shaped for soldering and they are filled with something, i guess it's plastic. I'm giving a negative review because I don't have the connectors and the seller is not available for any information and has not provided any documentation. I'll give a better review if I get some information about the connectors that I need to hook up the wiring to the male plug. It is possible to solder if you set it up very precisely. I'm also going to plug it in to the socket first to act as a heat sink and keep everything aligned

Very difficult to solder
The pins are covered with some metal, which is poorly wettable by solder. Regular flux does not help, you need to use acidic flux, which is not good for electronics. The plug body is made of thermoplastic and deforms during the soldering, unless you solder it plugged into female socket. Will never buy again.
