I'm 6'0" 325lbs, wear a 3XL shirt and this easily fits around me. I would bet 4-5xl could still got in this.

While the shoulder pads aren't very thick, or heavily cushioned/padded, they make a significant difference at 140lbs, simply by being wider, and distributing the load over a wider area.
