Had one before and lost it them sort it on Amazon and just had to get it and it was reasonably priced

Cut like a Samurai!
There were only Vine reviews when I bought this so a bit of a risk...so many to choose from all looking the same.In the end I bought it because of the shape, i.e. slim & similar to a normal razor.A good decision as it turns out. I had been using a cheaper Wahl razor which was ok but I felt paying more should get me an improvement....& it did. I liked the 'japenese steel' aspect as I'm into my kitchen knives & japanese steel is definately the best. Does it make a difference? I'm not sure really but it certainly cuts well, is very comfortable to hold &, as you'll see from the pictures, has finer teeth than the Phillips 7000, also slighter wider. I found it much easier to hold than the Phillips which seemed very bulky in comparison.I particularly liked the simple adjustment wheel, (I mean reallly, who needs a digital dial?), allowing 0.5mm increments. Also the fact it only has one gurd, so no need to keep swapping the guards for different lengths. It also cuts very close by removing the guard for your neckbeard!I'd definately recommend this after using it for a couple of weeks.

Great performance
I have had a couple of philips and Panasonic beard trimmers prior to this. The reason I bought this was due to my 5 year old philips one developing a battery issue which required charging prior to each use to kickstart it.This performs better than any of them ever did. The dial is simple to use, the 0.5 increments are very convenient, and I really like the colour / lightness.I'm not sure how durable the dial mechanism will be, if you press hard the length adjustment decreases. I have learnt to not press into my beard to prevent this.I can't swivel it to use a smaller head like my Panasonic beard trimmers, but this doesn't matter much. I prefer the sharpness / performance of this beard trimmer. It cuts very evenly and can produce excellent results.
