Works great!!!

Super easy to install. Not so sure how it will hold up under prolonged use. My concerns are 1. that the rubber will fatigue where it is gripping the air vent (Has already come undone a couple times—it’s important to “roll” the phone off the mount), and 2. that the rubber cover holding the magnet in place doesn’t break down like it did on my motorcycle mount.We’ll see. Overall, though, I think it’s a great solution to the vital necessity of driving less distractedly.

I bought two of these vent magnets one for my car and the other for my wife’s wrangler. The magnet worked fine on the vent in my car, but, the design of the vents in the jeep doesn’t allow for the magnet to stay in place. It will either slide down or make the vent rotate to the left or right causing the phone to fall off the magnet. If you have a jk wrangler don’t bother buying one. I love Rokform’s products but this one isn’t perfect.

Update: Amazon sent me another box and it contained everything! I even contacted Rokform who have great customer service, but I didn't need their help as Amazon took care of it.The vent clip fits securely on my Toyota Highlander air vent. The box contained 2 magnets for my phone case, you only need 1 magnet, I'm glad I have a backup magnet.The magnet is very strong and easily holds my phone in place.I opened my brand new Rokform Super Grip Mount and the box was empty except for the instruction booklet. There were no magnets either.

Honestly I was highly suspect of the product, but the price point was hard to beat. Once I placed it inside of my vehicle's vent, it actually held up quite well with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, even over crummy roads. The problem however is removing the phone from the mount. Either the clip that holds the mount is not strong enough, or the magnet on the phone case is too powerful. I have already a few times pulled the mount out of my vent entirely when all I wanted to do was take the phone off the mount and leave the vehicle. I have tried sliding it off, twisting it off, nothing seems to help. Either I make the deliberate action to hold both the mount and phone or I end up taking the phone and mount from the vent, then pry the mount from the phone, and put it back on the vent.

I love it! My only complaint is that the magnet on my case is so strong that I sometimes pull the base mount away from the vent. It's not a huge issue, but is a minor annoyance.

It’s a reasonable price, but I had to upgrade my case once I got a 14 (previously had a 12). The magnet in the 14 is massively different than the 12, and more narrow. It still works, but you have to be very specific about how you angle it with the magnet.

Exactly what I needed with my Rokform case. Easy to install and keeps the form sturdy while driving. I haven't had any issues of my phone falling off. I do pull from the bottom of the phone and do a roll up to pull the phone just to make sure it doesn’t pull the magnet off the air vent.

This vent mount has crazy magnetic adhesion! It almost pulls the phone out of your hand and onto the mount. The trickiest task for me was learning how to get the phone OFF the mount while still keeping the mount adhering to the vent... the magnetism is that strong! You need to slide or roll it off the mount or you'll get the whole mount with your phone. Absolutely no issues with the phone staying on the mount over bumpy roads. Superb quality!!
